Closed for good. Hilton booted them. Hilton may be planning to build a new time share on the location.

Walked in, and turned around. Decor outside and in is old and dingy, it is not clean, and there is a bit of an off odor. If what you see up front is questionable, imagine what the kitchen looks like! The place is popular. I think a big reason is that it’s BYOB with no corkage fee. A good location also helps.

Had reservations for 7:30pm didn’t get seated til 9pm then another 20-30 mins to get a chef to cook for us. Food was very disappointing for the price they charge. Very bad management no wonder they have to close down. Worst restaurant ever. Such a big disappointment! Don’t waste your time going there before they close down it’s not worth it. Save yourself time, money and biggest disappointment. :( ?????

Eaten here for years... Smells funny now days. Looks run down. IF you get a good chef can make up for it...

Way over priced for the below average quality of food. Their business model is to use prime real estate (right by multiple hotels) to lure customers in, and charge steep prices while spending minimal money on resources (low quality chopsticks, seats, ventilation, etc) and serving edible but not tasty food. Vegetarian dish only tasted of oil, meats were mediocre, service was alright (average). "Dynamite" was basically the same bland hibachi vegetables with three pieces of shrimp, covered with mayo. Too much bean sprout with the hibachi orders. Fried rice costs $4?? Lol. Would not recommend or go back.

Kobe is a mixed blessing. Much like your favorite elderly uncle or auntie they may be a bit thread worn but they are all heart and friendly. We had great service and food. I would recommend this place for being in the heart of Ewa Waikiki AND allowing large groups to be seated together (there is a whole upstairs unused most nights) plus is BYOB alcohol ($ saved). Just remember to walk, bus or Biki there! There is also a $5 discount for kama’ainas on some nights. (Best check when doing reservations.) And the place is filled with vintage 19th Century Japonica.

Waitress was totally rude, they charge you for everything, overpriced, and the food was horrible, my family feels disgusting after eating there

Overpriced for the crowded, standard performance with basically decent food... Food was ok; but should have been better for this price; staff were “programmed” to sell you more to drink & were pushy...

Always Love The Food And Service!!

The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, especially if you buy the discounted Costco gift cards. An added bonus is you can bring your own dessert for birthdays and it is BYOB. This place has been a family favorite for , however, the facility is going down hill and portions of the restaurant are no longer in use. The entire restaurant needs a thorough cleaning and there is a definite odor throughout .

A delightful experience shared with another party around the cooking grill. The cook to order food was delicious and the chef entertaining. The bar is closed for renovation so you must BYOB.

Place is a little run down, for price should be nicer. No alcohol. Food was delicious.
