Terrible sushi! Worst than store brought. Literally falls apart on your chopstick. The whole tray is one mess of rice! At least we did not get sick eating it!

For me it was ok, I pass by here a lot and didn't even notice them before even though they been around for years. So finally got around to trying it out. It's not Japanese style bentos and such, more fusion Chinese style imo. No pork so couldn't order the pork katsu and a few other items out as well. Opted for whatever was pre-made on the heater which was Beef Stew and the different Fried chicken mochiko chicken. Beef stew was ok, little on the watery side for the gravy. Has flavor, Beef was ok not very tough so that's good. Carrots and potatoes were cooked good. Portions were decent for the price. Didn't have enough chicken so she managed to do a mixed. Some mochiko and some wings. Wings were OK little slimy on the inside but a nice light crisp outside. Mochiko was ok nothing fancy came with a side sweet chili. Sushi items in the chilled area looked ok but prices were little high imo comparing to the sushi place down the road. Overall ok experience here, I don't necessarily need to be back unless there's some kind of special perhaps. Lots of other bentos places within walking distance so it'll be a tough one.

Very fast service and food is freshly made. I'm shocked I was a bit iffy at first to try this place. But once I came in and realized it's a mom and pop shop I knew right away that the food will be great. I got a chicken katsu bento and the breading was light and crispy. I brought the bento home and the chicken was still crispy and not hard to eat. Their sushi has good quality rice because even after refrigerating it, it's not hard like most places. I recommend coming here they have great cheap sushi!

I was really hungry and needed something to lunch. I was originally going to go to the bagel place a few doors down, but they were out of bagels. I saw this place as part of the shopping center, with a picture menu outside. The chicken Katsu looked good, so I ordered that. There was a kind lady at the counter, who doubled as cashier and cook. Omg. This was the best chicken katsu I've ever had. It was fresh, crispy and the Katsu sauce was so good. For such a large portion, this was very well priced. The staff was also very nice, and seemed to appreciate my business. As a warning, it's cash only. I'll definitely get food from here again!

Don't really know about the food because although they were supposed to be open, after driving from Central Oahu, found out they were closed on Saturday. No food is worth eating from a business that is unreliable.

I was on my lunch break for work and I wanted subway but I saw Kokea and thought a bento would be better. It was! I got the tempura bento. It took long to make considering I was on my break. I'm gonna call it in next time to avoid waiting 25 minutes again. At least I new they made it fresh! She also apologized for the wait so she was very kind. I really enjoyed it.

Kokea Bento have great food at great prices! An amazing producer (Marilyn Mick) discovered it for a local shoot and every time we are around Dillingham we can't help but have them as our caterer. Diana the owner is faboulous and will accommodate based on budget.

Review for catering/delivery. I have to order for standing luncheon meeting so I'm constantly on the lookout for places that deliver (for free or under $15), and found this place through yelp. Haven't been to the place personally, but I ordered off of their menu from their facebook page. Items were pretty much as pictured, although my only "complaint" would be that the curry plates were on the smaller size. It was enough to have the average person barely satisfied, but not still hungry. For the price it wasn't awful though. Calling was a bit difficult as there was a bit of a language barrier, but I just asked if I could e-mail my order and they said they preferred it that way (which is perfect because I also prefer it that way). Answers came promptly within 24 hours and customer service was always polite. Delivery came on time and food was decent. Food would have been about a 3.5 star, but considering price and value and service (free delivery woot!), I give it a 4. I would suggest people using them as an option for work luncheons as they accept business checks, and of course as an option for some change in plate/bento lunch.
Good Selections of fish bento and cooked warm and hot. Prices reasonable. will come again.

We have the ahi bowl and the Katsu bento. It was pretty good and better than we were expecting I guess. Nice flavors and Katsu done well. Not huge portions but filling and satisfying. Would come back again

I've seen this place while passing by one day and thought that I'd give it a try... I had the chicken teri bento.. It came with a generous portion of rice, chicken thighs (sliced), and 2 different sides. Everything is made fresh here.. No sitting When I checked out the bento in the car, I was kind of taken aback. I would have thought there would be something on the rice (sesame seeds, or an ume), but that's OK.. I can live without it. The chicken was cooked well and had a nice seasoning to it. My absolute favorite was the shredded daikon they had in this shoyu sauce... THAT was the BOMB!! THe menu is pretty straight forward. Katsu, Chicken Katsu, Tempura, etc.. I would hope that maybe one day they'll make combination bentos... I was craving tempura and chicken, but they don't have that.. (hint hint)... I would def. chose to eat here again...
