We took our five kids here for a treat and left already planning our next visit! This small local café in Hawaii truly surprised us with how yummy and affordable everything was. Of course, we had to try the world-famous Shaka-Boom dessert, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The creamy pineapple whip was so refreshing, and being able to add a variety of toppings made it fun for all of us to create our own perfect bites.
What made it even better was the man working the counter—he was so friendly and genuinely helped us pick the best options for our crew (including patient recommendations for five excited kids!). You can really feel the aloha here, and it’s the kind of local spot you want to tell everyone about while secretly wanting to keep it for yourself.
Highly recommend for a family treat, a post-beach cool-down, or if you’re simply craving something sweet and tropical that won’t empty your wallet. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by today after lunch with my 3 children. I got them a Shaka boom to share with sprinkles on top. The owner and I chatted while the cone was made and he was beyond friendly and super helpful! No picture because the kids destroyed it before we ever even sat down 😂 but definitely super cute and worth it! Loved supporting a local small business! We will be back soon!

The ice cream with the hand waffle looked cute so I decided to go for it. The portion was huge and I ended up throwing away half of it. The ice cream flavor was ok, nothing especial, but I expected the waffle to taste better.
Dole Whip! It was about $6 for 4oz of Dole Whip in a waffle cone. Totally delicious and more than enough for two people to share. The owner(?)/worker was so friendly and pleasant and helpful and professional. The whole experience was a treat!

This ice cream is delicious. They have so many options and fun styles. My daughter ordered soft serve vanilla and pineapple with mochi balls, I normal wouldn’t try that but is tasted so good. I ordered scoop ice cream mint chocolate with Oreo toppings, it was high quality with a good texture. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again.
