The coconut mochi waffles are incredible! Not overly sweet, and such an awesome snack to eat while walking around Waikiki. Definitely stop here if you can!

We came here twice while on vacation in Waikiki. The guy there is very nice! So patient and playful with the kids! The soft serve ice cream is amazing! We tried all 3 flavors- pineapple , chocolate and vanilla! All 3 were so yummy!!!!!!!!!!

2nd night in Hawaii & my husband & I have came here twice. I didn’t get anything the first time but got a dole whip ice cream in a waffle cone which was so tasty! My husband got the dole whip float twice as he loves it. The employee was sooo nice both nights as well! I’m sure we will be back a few more times before we leave

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Gil is an absolute stand out! He has the greatest personality and his smile lights up the night! Don’t miss out on this place. It’s a must stop in Waikiki!

We took our five kids here for a treat and left already planning our next visit! This small local café in Hawaii truly surprised us with how yummy and affordable everything was. Of course, we had to try the world-famous Shaka-Boom dessert, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The creamy pineapple whip was so refreshing, and being able to add a variety of toppings made it fun for all of us to create our own perfect bites.
What made it even better was the man working the counter—he was so friendly and genuinely helped us pick the best options for our crew (including patient recommendations for five excited kids!). You can really feel the aloha here, and it’s the kind of local spot you want to tell everyone about while secretly wanting to keep it for yourself.
Highly recommend for a family treat, a post-beach cool-down, or if you’re simply craving something sweet and tropical that won’t empty your wallet. We will definitely be back!
