Nice seating by the marina area and good food!
What a view when eating next to the small marina. The pizza was delicious. The beer was cold and great tasting. We will return the next time we are in the area. We grab a reservation online. It’s in a busy area and it took a few minutes to find a parking spot. Service was fantastic.
Great area...the food was good nothing special. 5 people with different entrees. Pizza was the best.
Only gave four stars because we only had drinks. But that being said we sat at a table that faced the water and could see fish swimming. The trade winds blow right through. It's got a great vibe.
As always eating at the Kona brewery in Hawaii, Kai is always very pleasurable. I love their burger of the week! And of course, the great brewski's, I just wish they would have the black sand a little longer than just a seasonal brew. Overall, it was a great time with my friends and my cousin.
If you're in Waikiki and craving great local beer with island vibes, Kona Brewing Co in Koko Marina is a must.
• Chill outdoor seating right on the water
• ON-TAP Kona classics like Big Wave, Longboard, and pub-only brews
• Pub grub or fare market priced catch of the day for a local flavor. -Killer poke nachos
• Aloha-style service that’s super friendly
Weekends get packed, so book ahead or swing by early.
Just 15–20 mins from Waikiki in Hawaii by car. Jist a 20-minute walk from Koko Head trail, making it a perfect cool down, refuel spot.
There is plenty of free parking,
I had the Captain pizza. It was very good. We had seats out by the water. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food.
Service at the bar is poor. Orders are not kept track of and staff can be rude or ignorant

Decent food, good beer. Service is almost always slow, and it takes a while to get food. Otherwise it's in a beautiful location overlooking the marina.

To Kona Brewing decision makers:
You broke my heart with discontinuing some of your best beers! Like “Pipeline Porter” and not bringing back the Season Dubbel in 2017, which was super good but only lasted a few months. It was such a bummer to stop making a great beer. The “Tasty Little Treat” Brown Ale was super good, but once again your beer/management decision makers stopped brewing it. It was always running out and selling out fast, yet you do not continue to brew it. Why? “Give, Give the People, Give the people what they want” - EPMD 1990. One thing I love about Kona Brewing is the variety of your beers. I am a loyal customer along with family and friends I bring from the Mainland to the Hawaii Kai location. Kona Brewing has plenty of IPA’s. No more please! Why are you getting rid of your best beers and keeping your average beers? That is not special! Your new Kona Brewing Owners are clueless about what beers are the best. The bar staff I have expressed my thoughts to are also super disappointed with your poor decisions and agree with me and other customers. When will the madness of discontinuing great brews stop? Stop being average today. Start being special! Bring back Pipeline Porter, Tasty Little Treat, and seasonal beers like the Belgian Dubbel!
