The food is super good! The staff was very nice and helpful and the buffet was really good!!
We’ve eaten here occasionally for the breakfast buffet and even Thanksgiving dinner over the past few years and loved it each time. The service staff are very attentive and helpful with kids, and provide crayons! The fruit is always ripe and fresh, they have really unique flavors for things like the mango danish for breakfasts and the li-hing ham during Thanksgiving, the food is delicious (waffles always a hit, and they have “breakfast brûlée” that is genuinely some of the best crème brûlées I’ve ever had at a restaurant, the fried rice is addictive comfort food, and I swear they had the juiciest and most flavorful turkey I’ve ever had), and a great grill.

Breakfast buffet - overpriced, even for Hawaii. $31. for a continental breakfast, which includes the omelet station or $48. for the complete buffet. The omelet was great, everything else was just average. It took 8 minutes to get a cup of coffee after I sat down. The coffee cups are also very small, and it is difficult to get a refill. A highlight was that I go a to-go coffee.

Went for the Easter brunch buffet. All the food was tasty. Variety was perfect. Not too much, not too little. Would definitely go back again.
Wonderful Easter brunch! We enjoyed the food and ambience. Our server was delightful and really paid attention to my 3 year old, distracted him enough so he could eat some of his meal. He is picky :) The kids loved seeing the Easter bunny!! So fun! The only thing I would suggest is to have some more kid friendly options like chicken tenders, fries, pizza. That would have made it perfect!
Breakfast was delicious ! Didn't have a chance to try the buffet, but the Big Kahuna Breakfast and Egg White with Sausage was the perfect amount of food.
The food was good and very fresh. The Pancakes were excellent. Our server Lok was attentive and made sure our coffee and waters were full. The chef at the omelette station was great. However the restaurant manager Patricia and hostess Trisha were really rude and had zero aloha which is unfortunate because their attitude ruined our experience. I’m sure we aren’t the first guests to encounter their unwelcoming attitude. It also seemed like the staff were afraid of Patricia. The staff are all so hardworking so it’s unfortunate they have to work for such a manager.
Food was good. Loved the live music. It rained and we weee outside. Not as fancy as I had hoped, but fun.
Not organized for a 6pm dinner(second seating for evening and not busy), 2 similar salads, food cool, minimal desert which they ran out of. No value for money paid and felt new years Buffett should offer enough food, properly set up and some Hawaiian food and something a little more special. Music very quiet. I would not recommend this restaurant
This buffet was underwhelming in every way. First, it was raining and we sat outdoors paying $250 for one adult and two teenagers to have dinner on a rooftop deck. The buffet choices included prime rib and turkey, salad without vegetables, rolls, green beans and chowder. The ambience was lackluster and food quality well below expectations for this cost on such a special evening. Entertainment included loud music that stopped around 6pm. The waitress saved the evening because she was fantastic.

I regret choosing this place for our New Year's Eve dinner. The buffet was average at best, with the fish being the absolute worst I've ever tasted—bland and overcooked. For $65 per person (not including tip), we expected much better. There were four of us, and we barely ate anything because the quality was so disappointing. It certainly did not live up to the price or the occasion. This was a complete waste of money, and we won't be returning.
I recently dined at the Kuhio Beach Grill’s buffet in the Marriott Waikīkī, and it was an absolute disaster. The au jus steak was completely inedible—the meat itself was so fatty that it couldn’t be enjoyed at all. For the price charged, this level of quality is unacceptable.
The turkey was no better. While I avoided it, my husband ate some and ended up feeling sick later that night. It’s alarming that a meal from a well-known restaurant could cause such discomfort.
The desserts were just as disappointing. The selection was uninspired, and the flavors were bland and forgettable. It was clear that no effort was made to offer guests a proper dining experience.
The only positive aspect was the service. The servers were attentive, friendly, and professional, but even excellent service couldn’t make up for the subpar food.
Given the exorbitant price of this buffet, I cannot stress enough how much of a waste of time and money this was. Avoid Kuhio Beach Grill at all costs—you’ll thank yourself for choosing somewhere else.
Food was ok - service was slow but server was very sweet - she just had too many tables. Typical hotel buffet
Great workers they accommodate all we needed as far as moving tables and other special request.🤙🏾🤙🏾
Great experience for the whole family from toddlers to adults everyone can enjoy . Music wasn't too loud for little ones.
