Worst experience ever! Put my name and number on the list, the cashier said it would take 30 minutes. I didn’t receive a call from them to say my table was ready so I went shopping, after an hr of no call, I went back and was told their phones were down for a bit but was working again. I didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes because the cashier said she can write my names again. Worse service ever!

Kuru kuru is so ono. Lots of yummy sushi to pick from. It's a little more pricey than I remember.

This place is perfect (without spending $300 on sushi). Everything was fresh and delicious but what I really have to rave about is the service. In a time when everyone is noticing that young people don't want to work, and they don't understand what hard work really is, blah blah blah (and in large part it might be true!) the people here greet you quickly, assist you, and even return periodically to check on you.And they're young. Theo was one of the associates on the floor, and if you're talking about an extremely polite and observant young adult, then you must be talking about Theo. And when these "kids" are not functioning as your server, they can be seen doing side work (which some servers just don't do!) or cashing out guests at the register. Yeah, this is what it Should look like, but if we're gonna complain about how "young kids" this and "young kids" that,...well, these young kids just outshined a hundred other lazy and/or rude adults that I've seen (at other businesses) taking up space and taking a paycheck like they were entitled to one. Hats off to you Theo and the manager and the entire staff at Kuru Kuru Kahala. It was a great experience. Thank you.

Vegetarian options: There are definitely some "vegetarian" items but if it's fried, it might be fried in the same fryer...it all depends on how strict you are.

A conveyor belt sushi restaurant that I enjoyed so much..I happened to search for it and went there, and all the food I ate was delicious, especially the poke. It was so flavorful!!??

The food is alright but kind of expensive especially for the price. The staff are nice and attentive. I used to go a lot but since the increased the prices and decreased the serving sizes I hardly go anymore and really only when I have a strong want for sushi and am stuck at kahala mall so I can’t go anyplace else.

This place just raised their prices again with new menus but we got our sushi rolls with very soggy and chewy nori. The deep fried pumpkin was also lame, and not crispy. We had no ginger. And the worst was the soup. Both the miso and clam soups were very salty. We also watched as they had cleared a counter space but decided to wait for another customer to leave and cleaned 6 more seatings to bring in 4 other couples that were beliwvus in the list which added another 10 min of wait time to the 20 we already waited.

The food experience was pretty good.Had a nice lunch with family.Only downside was the spicy inari, while delicious, it was the way the dish was presented.

It’s not the greatest quality, but some of the dishes are pretty cheap, especially the poke bowls! For value, I give it 5 stars!
