I ordered the chicken katsu plate via Uber Eats. This location has always served me the best chicken Katsu. Today it tasted like it was re- fried. The breading was so hard and falling apart. The chicken is so dry and everytime you pick up a piece, all the breading falls off. Messy presentation and messy to eat. They should be ashamed of serving this using Uber Eats so you can't complain in person some pieces didn't even have chicken.
I called to let them know but she just made excuses. Was my go to, not anymore! ?

I like local restaurants and L&L is good with reasonable price. Chicken Cutlets is a little bit oily but Loco Moco is very good. Don’t expect super clean tables and chairs.The loco moco here is cheap, the amount is so large that you can't finish it (regular), and it's delicious. During lunch time (starting around 11:30am), there are a lot of locals working in the area, so it gets crowded, so the later hours are often empty.

Not the best L&L I’ve been to in terms of food taste. My chicken katsu tasted ok, but not as good as when I get it from the Ke’eaumoku location.Second dingiest L&L I’ve been to after the Market City location. Very dim in the dining area and in the kitchen. No lights on over the cashier area, even after sunset. Not sure how the workers can see what they’re doing. Floors felt sticky.Service was extremely slow. It took almost 30 minutes to get my food. People who ordered after me got their food first. As typical for L&L, only one cashier taking phone and in-person orders, and they were also responsible for bagging and delivering all orders (including app orders). Seemed very inefficient.

Order a quick meal and take it to the beach to eat and watch the sunset.
Parking: There is free parking on the roadside, and parking is tight on weekends.
Food was great, had short ribs and garlic fish. Was so good we came back the next day. I've read that L&L bbqs aren't created equal but this must be one of the better ones. When you see the place full of locals it must be good.

The atmosphere is like a really simple restaurant.There aren't many seats, but the menu is extensive, and the loco moco in particular was the best I've had in Hawaii!As for the appearance, huh? . . It looks so simple and simple, but the gravy and patty go so well together, and even though it was a large portion, I was able to eat it all!
