The food was delicious but the amount of rice seemed a bit excessive.

We chose to sit outside since the weather was nice but also because someone was playing really loud on their phone inside.

We chose to eat at a L&L to guage what we can expect from Hawaii and what they are well know for, Plate Lunch. We were not disappointed. Big portions with full flavored chicken and Kalbi beef. The mac salad was awesome. Chicken had the perfect cook and was juicy. The kalbi beef rib was melt in your mouth and the sauce exploded with flavor. We stop here on a regular for family dinners.

They have solid food with a lot of options such as the extra Chinese food flare dishes.

My son loves the burger and the teriyaki beef or chicken bowl. Two of my favorites are the mochiko chicken and the pork chops.

Surprisingly, the ward area does not have a lot of late night spots, but this is one of the few. Well technically it’s only open until 9p., still later than most...
