Locally loved... L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is located in the Old Stadium Mall well you can see them right on South King Street but the parking is one way which you need to enter from Young Street that can be tight though I do somehow manage to find parking at this lot. It's very simple and small though do provide some seating inside which is always appreciated there is a tv blaring probably for the regulars who love to come and enjoy their meal while watching it is a nice touch. The menu is quite incredible as they seem to have it all so many that they have it sorted by chicken, beef, pork and seafood plates. Saimin and healthier options are thoughtfully available along with the famous musubi and so much more. It's all quite mind boggling so I glanced at the "Special" menu and see Orange Chicken Bowl for $8.65 sounds simple and at that price is something that sounds good. It is made to order so there was a bit of a wait and what a impressive portion, the chicken is fried nice and crispy tossed generously in the orange sauce was nice and tangy though the rice was too mushy for my liking. I do love the convenience and price it was more than enough and with that I can't really complain. Thank you!

Mochiko chicken plate. It's alright. Nothing too special. could use more flavor, but that's just me. Crunchy and moist. Rice is on point. Next time should get katsu sauce

Ordered BBQ chicken plate to go, when I went back home I opened the box to discover the chicken was completely burned. I tried it and the whole thing tasted like char. Even removing the skin didn’t help because the char flavor had seeped into the sauce. It was completely inedible.

This is the first L&L location that knew how to use the app! I have had so much difficulty with it not working with promos so for the Spam Musubi day I tried a different one and I will always come here from now on! The cashier walked me through how to redeem the offer and select Old Stadium as the location. After I got my musubi, I also helped another customer and taught her how to use it! Since she was so helpful, I wanted to buy some lunch too. I tried the chili dog/mochiko chicken plate. It wasn't listed online so in order to get my points, she assisted me in ordering something online instead and I still got my points. The chili was a bit sweet which I really loved. The mochiko chicken wasn't as sweet as I usually like for my mochiko chicken, it was more like fried chicken. I am glad I tried it but will try something else next time. Come support this location! Parking is free and service is great!

The Waimanalo L&L BBQ made my boss wait 45 minutes for a Salmon Sandwich. I heard one of the girls say "That's life" when I showed how long at 1:45 pm. It was 7/28/23 @1:15 (approx)pm ordering up and didn't get his food until 1:58pm!

The food is fine, i mean it's L and L it's not fine dining it's not even Diner's drive in. But the service could be better. The lady who work at the counter never smiles, and barely croaks out an appreciative thank you when you leave. I miss the old school locally owned spots like Jolly Rogers, Chunky's, Jon's (at Ala Moana center), Andy's Drive in, etc.

The lady charged me an extra $2-3 for curry when my Katsu came with it. Original price was $11.95 and she stood by her decision to charge me extra. Don't visit this one. Go to another L&L that won't rip you off.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Just so damn good. I’m in town every few weeks and this just became my go-to Uber order.

Ordered take-out from Uber Eats. Food is great traditional Hawaiian chicken BBQ plate. Nothing fancy but good comfort food.

Affordable food, and some of the best chicken katsu and bbq chicken you can find at a local plate lunch restaurant. Their Mac salad is great and their salad dressing is delicious!
