Do NOT order online at this location. I arrived and the cashier refused to check to confirm that my order went through, told me to wait until the food came out. What looked like my order was waiting on the counter for 20 mins despite asking the cashier if that was my order. I asked if she could confirm it was the correct order and she said it’s 5 plates so it’s the correct order. I asked to please confirm it was correct because previous orders had the wrong items. She refused and I opened each container to check myself. The entire time the cashier just stood there. It seems once they have your money from the order there is no longer any customer care involved.

If you’re just craving for musubi or a quick bite, I recommend Musubi Cafe instead. Wait time is less, Serving is more. Their burger is prob. my favorite on their menu. Taste and texture is homemade not like frozen patty. This L&L is inside Walmart Keeamoku, 4 levels of Parking. Best to park at 4th floor since there’s less traffic. 1st floor is Walmart Access, 3rd floor is Sams Club.

Rude, unfriendly, no taste, poor understanding of making the dish presentable. 🫤

Ordered the lau lau plate & the kalua pork tasted better than the lau lau. Found lau lau bland. The taro leaf had no flavor whatsoever & the pork was dry vs the kalua pork. Usually, the leaf has what I can only describe as a smoky flavor. Did sense predominantly pork & some fat but no butterfish. It is better than some mainland locations who don’t even bother to serve it at all due to public ignorance. I’ve had better lau lau.

Completely unacceptable and rude behavior from the woman at the counter. I was the only one waiting while she chatted with the kitchen staff. Then, out of nowhere, she turns around and helps a woman who just walked up, completely ignoring me. Even after that, she kept ignoring me and was about to help the next person in line—until another customer spoke up and pointed out that I was next. I have no idea what I did to deserve that treatment, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

The portions were very small when I got the mixed plate for $23. They didn’t put any sauce on. It asked for sauce and they said it’d be another dollar which is ridiculous when they didn’t put it on to begin with dry and not tasty. this is my worst experience. I always look forward to coming to LML when I was in Hawaii, but I must say this was a big letdown

I did go try Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center L&L and it was Fabulous and a night and day difference. You should close the Walmart location if they cannot live up to L&L standards

I got the mix plate, hamburger steak, teri beef and beef stew. I've been eating at various L&L's since the '80s, even mainland ones. I never had food so salty before. I swear the teri beef was the least salty thing! Not sure if the cook was having a bad day or what! Maybe his taste buds are shot from covid! lol I had a few bites of each and then trashed it. Seriously, even the carrot in the stew tasted like it was made out of salt.

Visited on 12/31.

The Chinese clerk was speaking English with a Chinese accent, which was difficult to understand, and he was also wearing a mask, so I had no idea what he was saying. It feels bad too.

I thought I ordered BBQ chicken teriyaki, but the receipt said BBQ beef, so when I asked for confirmation, they said, ``It's the same, so it's okay,'' so I waited with peace of mind, but there was beef in the bowl. I'm Chinese so no apologies. Is there no apology? That's the level of apology.

It can't be helped since it's inside Walmart, but the service level is extremely low. However, compared to the Royal Hawaiian Center location, the entire menu is $7 cheaper. If you live here, you can say it can't be helped, but if you come here on a trip, it's painful. I don't want to go through the journey with unpleasant thoughts.
