The shaved Ice itself is 5 stars but the girl who was there had terrible customer service. Place was empty, we were the only ones there and she was on her phone. Guess she got upset because we took her away from her phone time. They didn't have ice cream but we still ordered one and it was delicious. Just bad customer service.
Sooo yummy! We almost left Hawaii without trying shave ice, and that would have been a huge mistake. Lahaina Shave Ice was amazing and refreshing on a hot day. There are a ton of flavors and options to try. Do yourself a favor and get the ice cream on the bottom, once the shave ice starts to melt it tastes like a creamsicle.
Went back twice on a four day trip to Waikiki. Should have gone four times as it’s so delicious! The small (keiki) is HUGE and I love their signature menu so you don’t have to think about what you want if you’re unfamiliar with Hawaiian shaved ice. There are two locations (the other one is on the beach by Outrigger REEF Waikīkī hotel) and this one is located on the edge of a parking garage. Kind of a terrible spot and cars do come and go. There is nowhere to sit or not...
