FOOD IS DELICIOUS

Pretty decent place for tacos, quesadillas. They have chicken, pork, beef meat as protein options. They’ve mild, spicy and very spicy sauces. Rice and beans was decent as well. Overall decent place for quick bite. Quantity wasn’t worth the price. Could be better. I had the chicken tacos, rice and beans.

Perfect spot for a quick lunch in downtown! The owners and staff are so friendly. The food tastes delicious and fresh! Definitely going back!!!

Finally had the chance to walk over to Lahaina Tacos for lunch while my car was charging at Aloha Tower 🔋.

Mahalo for the friendly service and delicious food at a great price! I’m especially happy with their veggie options—and even more thrilled to find rice in the burrito. It really hit the spot and reminded me of the Mission burritos I’ve missed since leaving San Francisco 🌯💚

Had 2 street tacos a lengua and a carne asada. Meat didn’t have much flavor, it needed garlic, cumin, and cilantro, the salsa also no flavor; barely 11am and they were out of beans the lunch crowd hadn’t even been there yet.

I wasnt impressed. I tried this place due to the high rating. The ceviche and chips was a disappointment. The ceviche was in a plastic container and was spilling out juices because it was overpacked. You can see from my photo with my wet napkin and receipt. Chips were store chips in a ziploc, not warmed. The tacos tasted great, but they were the smallest tacos ever. Maybe I would need 6-7 of them to be full. The store looks nice, but look at the photo to see what $22 got me.

Got there at 1245 on a Wednesday. Ordered 3 tacos: birria, adobada, lengua. Took 5 minutes. Birria was the best but all 3 were solid and I ate them way too fast. Contemplating getting more even though I'm already full.

Lahaina Tacos located in Fort Street Mall. Family owned, extremely friendly and welcoming. Went for lunch takeout and got the birria burrito. Burrito was a solid size for the price with fresh ingredients. The wait was about 45 minutes total between waiting to order and waiting for the order. The wait was worth it though. Anticipate the long waits will be the case for a bit since they are brand new and in the middle of town. They did run out of some food so get there early! Can’t wait to return and try everything else.

Tasty tacos. However, waiting 45-50 minutes for two tacos is a bit much.

Awesome food! Fresh and delicious. Easy to walk to from most places in the downtown Honolulu area. Cannot wait to eat here again. Easy to take away or grab a table that serves several of the eateries in the area.

SOOO. GOOD. 🔥 Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food! They make their tortillas fresh from scratch, and the owners also have an amazing story —originally from Mexico, they lived in Lahaina since the ‘80’s then tragically lost everything in the Lahaina fire, which led them to relocate to Oahu. Definitely a worthy business to support!

The service is also friendly and fast, and there’s lots of seating around (it’s takeout only). Best to park at a municipal lot and walk across, as there is no validation for Pioneer Plaza. Trust me when I say the food is worth every penny (I got the burrito and quesadilla), and plan to be back regularly! Mahalo nui again! 💜🙏🏼

Vegetarian options: They have a veggie option for majority of their dishes. Great for vegans or vegetarians.

Parking: There is a parking lot inside of Pioneer Plaza, but it’s best to park in a nearby municipal lot or find metered street parking.

Kid-friendliness: They definitely have kid-friendly food options and it’s in a food court-type setting, so very informal.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, this place is wheelchair accessible and is on the ground level with elevator access.

Fresh ingredients, delicious flavors, this new family-owned restaurant is fantastic. I had a taco plate with three different types of meat filling (I wanted to try it all!) and they were tender and delicious. Don't forget to add some of their homemade salsa, sooooo good! Their service was so kind and the location is convenient. This is a walk-up takeout place but there is seating available. Can't wait to eat here again.

I forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating, it was that good :)
