I hadn't decided on a restaurant for my first night in Waikiki🤙
I had never eaten garlic shrimp before, so I searched for a place where I could drink Mai Tai, and I found Leahi Bar & Grill near my hotel🦐
LIVE Momo was just happening and the atmosphere was great♪
Garlic shrimp and burger were all delicious.

One of the few places open later in Waikiki. Great spot to enjoy pupus and live music, with lots of seating on their second story patio. Friendly staff definitely will help make your vacation memorable.

The garlic shrimp and the soy sauce flavored poke were very delicious! The presentation was good, there were vegetables, and for some reason there was red pickled ginger in the poke! Great Japanese style. lol
The store is so spacious that groups can come without reservations.
Groups of 5 or more automatically have a 17-18% tip included in the US. Please note that you can only choose to tip more than 2%. (receipt reference)

Our server Lynn was OUTSTANDING! The food was spectacular, Shane the manager also came to our table to check on our allergies. The live music was fun and relaxing. Stop by this gem!

I came here back in August and I meant to leave this review much sooner. The service I received here was awesome. The bartender was knowledgeable introduced me to a drink that went well with what I was eating. The floor manager had great customer service as well and the food was great. This is a good place to bring a group of friends and family as a pre cursor to a local adventure or a post event to refuel after an adventure.

Hawaii nightlife. That's what it feels like. We also have live performances
The owner is American, but he can understand Japanese. They said they would start serving ramen (lunch?) in November. There was a Shochu Dassai!

This is one of the last surviving parts of the old Honolulu I remember from 50 years ago. Bartender , Mike, makes great drinks ( . Mai Tai or Manhattan Martini ) Great food ( especially honey, walnut shrimp). Young Matt , the musician, played an acoustic version of The General, the only anti war song I ever heard that didn't disparage the military. ( my wife was in the army for 29 years as a medic, then flight surgeon in Iraq.
Give it a try, ( Leahi not fighting in Iraq ) you won't be disappointed.

We had cocktails here after dinner. Mike was soooo attentive. We dubbed this bad our “neighborhood bar” for the rest of our stay!
The live music, especially Matt, is really good as well.

Mike, the bartender, is capable of making a good drink, but his attitude could use major improvement. When asked a simple question about age restrictions, he responded with unnecessary anger. The manager, aware of the incident, was unable to handle the situation professionally. Mike then threw a tantrum Infront of the entire restaurant and, with hostility, kicked out returning customers over a straightforward inquiry. There are better talents for bartenders out there, and I suggest this restaurant explore other options.

not the chinese chicken salad i’m used to, it was “healthier” bc of the non-mayo based dressing but it was good. And the piña colada was pretty good. I’d go back

Katie was so sweet and attentive. The pulled pork sandwich was good... not as hot as it could have been... bread was not as fresh and soft as I like. The Signature Mai Tai was delicious!
