3.5? The tacos aren't really tacos, it's just stuff on pita bread. The food was pretty okay. The smoothies are good. The service is nice. I added tofu to my tacos and there were only a couple tiny pieces. peace cafe is a lot better for this type of food Updated from previous review on 2025-03-23

1st time at this location. Easy parking by entrance or in back lot. Order inside, pickup outside. Seating options at both.
Just as good as other locations! Love the more unique smoothie options, and ability to make meals gluten free. Great prices for the area! Rewards system and daily specials (free health shots on Fri, which was a nice treat.)
Always wonderful to find a business that amplifies plants, sources locally, and has GF options.

The menu here is perfect for a lighter feeling breakfast. Not to say you won’t get full, I loved that the dishes were veg and fruit forward! Feels good to get your vitamins in without having to sacrifice flavor! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-02

Lovely salads and one of the tastiest smoothies I’ve ever had. We had the bacon mustard bowl and the deep green smoothie. Can’t wait for more from a healthy, satisfying meal.

Sooooo delicious - the Tuna Mock Tacos and the Bacon Mustard Tacos are particularly great for us. And everything looks so beautifully colorful that it makes you even more hungry. By the way, the smoothies are also fantastic.

Such amazing food. My mom is gluten free and sugar free so they tweaked it to make it perfect for her. She loved it

It’s always a challenge to find vegan and gluten free but Leahi Health Kaimuki is always one of our stops when we are visiting family here. The ingredients are always fresh. My favorites are the breakfast tacos, beet poke and the green monster smoothie. My husband loves the rainbow tacos. Note: typically items are served on a pita bread but you can request tacos (local tortillas) for the gluten free option. There is a small area for outdoor seating and inside for air conditioning.

In contrast to most island dining, this was a nice vegan restaurant. I was slightly worried about whether I would feel full after a salad for lunch. Ordered the baja bowl and surfer bowl. Both looked so similar that we had to check the menu to see which one had furikake. (ha!) This location had a queue to order and pick-up so it's pretty popular. I liked the outdoor eating offering shared with the brew pub.

Excellent choice for breakfast! Exhaustive list of Smoothies and Vegan Tacos…

They modified their Pumpkin Pie Smoothie to exclude banana because of a histamine sensitivity using avacado and it was Wonderful! Best kept vegan and gluten free secret in Honolulu…

Highly recommend! It's tough finding good vegetarian food on the island but leahi never fails to impress. Their bowls are amazing, I would recommend anything with the coconut bacon, and their smoothies are perfect on a hot day.

I love this health food establishment! I've only been to the wonderful Manoa location prior, but today I got the pleasure of dinning inside of their clean, cool indoor seating at the Kaimuki location!

Love the options on the menu and the special shot and taco of the day!

My go to items on the menu, are the Kale Tacos and Rainbow Tacos, I also love the bowls!

Service is always welcoming and kind. Thanks Isla for answering all my questions =)

Mahlaos Leahi Health for being island wide with many locations!

Out of all the vegan food we've eaten during our three week stay, this was our least favorite. I had mock tuna tacos. I had a hard time finding any of the "tuna" in my taco. When I found it, I didn't enjoy the texture or flavor. They are trying to mimic a tuna fish sandwich, which is not what I was expecting. But it also wasn't a very good texture or flavor. Anyway, I was disappointed. I can't remember what other people had, but we all thought it was just ok. Maybe the 5 stars from other people are bcz they are surprised it's raw vegan?

Mediocre Açaí bowl, frozen fruit on top (??), syrup-y sweet, ate the toppings and tossed the rest. Paid $12 for a banana lol.

I am a regular at this business. I go to different locations depending on which is most convenient. I have NEVER had such bad experiences at a restaurant as I do at their KAIMUKI location. The employees are entitled children. Most recently, I ordered waited 25 minutes, walked to the front to see what was taking so long, come to find out my order had been “taken.” Right… in other terms they forgot to make my food. Okay so they make it, and they make it incorrectly. I modified my order and PAID for upgrades. So when I point out the fact that it’s wrong, instead of apologizing and happily remaking it, the approach the situation with frustration. Like, I’m the one inconvenienced here and I’m just asking you to right your wrong. They gave me the fixed order which did not contain my add on. I requested they add it on and to no surprise this furthered their frustration. Like okay you make a mistake, own it, fix it, and heaven forbid you provide good customer service. Would advise against visiting this location. Not the first time this has happened and it’s such a turn off for me to continue to support their business financially when I am treated this way… every time.
