lovely service and reasonable prices. I’d highly recommend the moco loco — the meat was freshly grilled & juicy and the gravy was flavorful. I definitely plan on returning any time I am at HNL airport.

note: the dine in food is far superior to the grab and go bowls at the front of the joint. also even if you purchase grab and go, you cannot eat at the restaurant seating!

My card information was stolen by the bartender. I had 3 fraudulent charges on my credit card after ordering drinks at the bar. And the drinks were not even that good. The bloody mary did not come with the garnishes that were advertised. It had a single stick of celery in it, and it was very bland like one you would get on an airplane. I ordered a beer instead of another drink because it was so bad. Thanks for screwing me over. It really sucks to have to cancel your card when you are traveling.

Take what some of the others have said to heart on these reviews. Staff is rude, management is meh, and maybe food is decent, but that’s as far as it goes. Would not come here ever again even if they paid me money.

Love the ramen, wish their hours were posted at airport information terminals, airport website or here on Google maps.

Food was surprisingly good for an airport location. No problem with service and atmosphere either, if 5 star is the max however I can’t give more than 4 otherwise it’s not comparable when visiting something truly unique.
Again, compared to airport locations and within its own league this would be 5 star though as it was better than we expected.

The rudest experience! Purchased food from this joint at the airport using their automated checkout stand and sat down at a bench table to eat it. Despite that the joint was 75% empty, the server Liah came and kicked me out in front of other patrons in the middle of eating my meal!! She could’ve gracefully let me finish my meal and go. But no, I had to order the food through her. She pointed out at a sign that says so, but it is not visible from where you choose the food and pay for it. If I knew they wouldn’t let me sit to eat the food that I ordered from them, I wouldn’t have ordered to begin with. Extremely disrespectful to their own customers.

Yeah, so I might have had an outlier experience, or not. I have no idea.
But as I enter my senior years it occurs to me that I’ve never bellied up to a bar at an airport in my life.

I mean.. I’ve had a drink or two a few times, but I’ve never really said “f*ck it. Let’s DO this!”

Today I did. At this place. Just sat the F down at the bar and started ordering drinks.. and a burger.

The burger was decent. The fries.. the fries are where a lot of places screw the pooch these days, often serving up some weird “coated fries” overly crunchy sticks designed by committee in a lab.

Theirs were not that. I appreciated that detail.

What! More cocktails? Of the whiskey/rye type originating in the 1870s? Please and thank you!

The Filipino guy manning the bar was professional with a pleasant demeanor.

I tried not to be too obnoxious, tho’ the strength of the elixirs may be fogging my recollection somewhat.

They don’t have a “dessert menu”, but they do have a dessert. A lilikoi cheesecake.

So… there’s a light li hing mui glaze on the plate and a big dollop of cream. Holeeejezzuzgawd it’s brilliant.

I dunno. Maybe it’s the alcohol talking (as I did have another whiskey sour with the cheesecake) but this combo had me vibrating with delight. The sour, the sweet, the blood-brain barrier Bulleit hit.. wonderful.

Your mileage may vary, but my first go-for-broke Airport Bar experience might have been my best.

The food wasn’t bad, but our experience was terrible! Due to a small oversight (and in a rush), we scanned the QR code at the entrance and sat down at the table to look at the menu and finish our order. The waiter was watching us from afar and could have helped us, but he waited until we had finished our order before coming over and asking if we had already ordered. When he found out that it was from the QR code at the entrance and not at “his” table, he kicked us out of the place with a two-year-old child, saying that we couldn’t eat there. My husband apologized for the mistake and confusion, but he was adamant and told us to get up. I still insisted that we would be quick and just feed the child, but he kicked us out of the restaurant and gave us the bag so we could eat outside. Horrible attitude, the food was inedible, I don’t recommend it. There is another bar/restaurant a few steps ahead.

Good food, ramen noodles little bit overcooked but still good.

I had the crispy chicken and garlic fries, pretty good the chicken was nice and crispy. I didn’t really like the garlic fries I would prefer the regular ones cause the garlic taste was pretty strong, has a good amount of garlic. The price was average for airport food. The restaurant looked nice too, the workers are very kind and respectful. I would probably come here again.

Parking: You can park ur luggage cart inside which is pretty nice because most airport restaurants don’t allow it.

No aloha found here. I wish there were 0 stars available. I was just treated like a criminal at this place. I have a broken arm and paid $25 for food at the self checkout and sat down at a bar table in the far corner where it was quiet and no one was around. I just wanted to eat quickly before I boarded and need a table to eat because of my arm. They kicked me out and caused a scene because I didn’t order from the restaurant. So rude. Have some empathy, heartless loud staff. Awful.

For airport food, cheeseburger & fries pricey, but spot on good with fresh veggies on it & crispy fries. Tempura Shrimp also good. Lilikoi cheesecake a sugar bomb but hit the spot. Reggie our server was great too.
