A nice little find inside of near empty Dole Plantation Foodcourt next to Costco. I had the adobo pork belly. We all know there are many ways that adobo can be prepared, but this place’s adobo was different and it was excellent. It looks like the pork was stewed and then fried. It was tender and flavorful. The best adobo I’ve had here or on the mainland. I ordered with half salad and half Olena rice (rice with turmeric). After ordering, you can eat your food in the roomy air conditioned sitting area. And the iced tea was very good as well.

Parking: It shares the parking lot with Costco customers, so you know it’s a madhouse here. So be careful and drive slowly.

Unassuming Vietnamese take out counter in the Dole cannery food court. The Bahn Mi here was extremely tender and full of flavor. We also had the fried mahi mahi fish n chips, including the pork belly rice bowl. One of the best Vietnamese places I’ve ever been. Highly recommend.

The lady running the counter was also very friendly and accommodating. Helped us choose our dishes.

Absolutely blown away from this place! Everything was amazing, got the wagyu burger, prime brisket bowl, and the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever tasted! She also came out and gave us a free peanut butter cookie. 10/10 coming back and telling everyone.

6 stars if we could! Came here with my daughters during our vacation and everything we ordered was amazing. The lady working was so enthusiastic and the nicest. We had filipino lemonade and mango passion tea for drinks and those were perfect too. Especially the beef brisket was the best thing. The sauce with the cold soba noodles was absolutely delicious as well. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

We came here while on vacation (i love finding the best local food away from the tourist) and i am so happy we stopped by. First off, the owner is so welcoming and loving! She suggested the ahi tuna sandwich and omg…. PLEASE order that if it’s your first time. So amazing with the truffle fries. I also got the beef stew, spiced banana bread and brownies! All so tasty!!! Highly recommend! I will fly all the way out to HI just to eat here again. Mahalo for the amazing food & experience!!!

The brisket was melt in your mouth buttery yummy-ness. ? Pork belly too! Just wish there was a little bit more pork belly in my Banh Mi. ? Everything was great. Filipino Lemonade was so freshing and delicious. We also had the banana poi bread too (not pictured) and it is soo sooo moist and flavorful. Definitely recommend this place!!

We had the fish and chips and the brisket. The brisket was absolutely amazing. The flavors were complex in the meat was very tender. The fish and chips were delicious. There was nothing left on our plate afterwards. We enjoyed the pineapple tea and that was very refreshing as well. We finished it off with a delicious, soft peanut butter cookie. This may look like a cafeteria, but this food is high-end restaurant quality.

WOW by far the best food we had in Hawaii, so much so we had to order 2nd rounds! The brisket was out of this world. The pork belly is perfectly crisped and flavorful. The bread on the sandwhich was perfect - soft, but crispy on the outside. The lemonade was wonderfully refreshing— tart and not too sweet with small pieces of pineapple. Topped it all off with banana nut bread!!Must have!! The cherry on top was the very friendly, kind, helpful service :)

This is the BEST brisket bbq and beef stew on the island. Banh mi was also phenomenal. Every single drink we had was not only beautiful but also so delicious and fresh! The owner, Rose, is such a gem. Indulged us with so many samples— I loved everything she let us try! We’ll be back very soon?

Tucked away in an inauspicious food court, OlenaHi is worth the Uber trip. The food, which blurs the lines between various Asian cuisines, is masterfully prepared with so much care and thought. The pork belly Adobo Ban Mi brought back memories of my Lola’s traditional adobo but with a fresh, elevated presentation. The hostess / co-owner sat and talked story with us, making us feel like long time patrons, despite this being our first time here. It definitely won’t be our last. Can’t recommend it more.
