I was hoping for a delicious treat, but the malasadas looked burned and tasted blah. I give them some credit because they were freshly made. My party of four agreed that they are overrated. We tried the custard, chocolate and coconut filled malasadas. The filling was also what disappointed me the most. The filling is made with very low quality artificial flavoring. I’ve had better malasadas at a different place. I wouldn’t go out of my way to try their malasadas. You’re not missing much.

It’s a food truck–style donut shop with about three tables next to it for customers to sit and eat.
The donuts are warm, and the filling inside is also warm. The outside is coated with sugar, and the filling isn’t overly sweet.
It tastes like a Korean glutinous rice donut filled with warm custard cream.
Highly recommend pairing it with coffee.
They don’t accept cash — card payment only.
The staff weren’t particularly friendly.

There are malasadas everywhere on Oahu, but Leonard's is where you want to go to get them. These were easily the tastiest malasadas. And if you haven't tried it yet, get one with li hing mui.

I get the hype. It was delicious. So fluffy but also kinda chewy (in the best way possible). Highly recommend the cinnamon sugar, haupia, and nutella. The truck is located in the parking lot of a strip mall that offers a few outdoor seating if you wanted to enjoy it on the spot.

Amazing sweet treats you can grab to go or just enjoy onsite. These are super soft, warm, and delicious puff malasadas. The cream inside is like a gentle sweet sauce not super sweet which makes it even tastier.

OMGoodness! After eating the first hot one with coconut cream, you know what all the hoopla is all about! The most amazing sweet dessert I had while in Hawaii.

Tourist buses stop here, so there was a line in the morning.
Malasada are made as you order, super fresh and nice.
You can order one malasada or even a dozen. You also have plain and filled.

I love the plain sugared malasadas. This time I got cinnamon and sugar. So good! Everytime I am on the island Leonard's is must!
