Wh.at can we say! Great drinks, great music. Best place we have found for an evening of jazz in Waikiki.

This is a classy (and classic) bar located in Waikiki, Honolulu. It is an intimate listening lounge, where musicians play jazz numbers (and take requests) on a variety of instruments and using a number of arrangements. The cocktails were exquisite, and the selection of scotch was impressive. The bartender was knowledgeable and funny. Dress nicely.

More of a mature adult scene with live jazz in evenings. Service was excellent and the drinks were on the pricier side, but well balanced. It's inside the Halekalani hotel and we didn't realize they require shoes or sandals with straps. Luckily it was a slow Wednesday night and they let us in with our fancy slippa's. They also have valet parking and they validate.

Swanky Intimate Jazz bar. Service is fine, if a bit stiff. The 2 piece band ( piano and horns), were excellent. The first gentleman with the guitar was also very good. Beautiful hotel. Right on the Ocean. Expensive. Very adult.

Lewers Lounge was a bit too swanky for me but I did enjoy the atmosphere and the jazz performances. It’s a bit pricey for the average person. The menu was small bite items. I had the charcuterie. The cocktails were good. Why is it so hard to find a pisco sour?

This place was a great find and a badly needed change for me after drinking margaritas on the beach for 4 days. They have a great selection of cocktails and the bartender knew how to make them well. The vibe was great: dim lights, comfortable sofas and chairs and live acoustic music (they take requests!) from about 5:30 to 8. The jazz band takes over after that. They do have a dress code "no flip-flops or shorts" policy which was also nice.

Drinks are very well executed at this bar. My Old Fashioned was one of the best I've ever had. Tight, balanced, and bourbon-forward. Music was only so so. There is not the sense that the singer/pianist and her trio understand the American Songbook. I also don't like the physical layout of the revamped bar; it feels more like a concert venue than a lounge. Overall, the Halekulani Hotel delivers more than this bar. Different from the Carlyle and Bemelmans, which complement each other.

I’m always down for a nightcap! We were staying at Halekulani and popped in before heading back to our room.ATMOSPHERE:The cozy lounge is the hotel’s lobby bar but is located in a separate building just off of the pool deck. Live jazz music is featured Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Decor is very warm with dark woods and ambient lighting. It’s a bit squishy inside as it isn’t a large space. Choose from bar and low top seating.EXPERIENCE:We had a short five minute wait on this particular Saturday night around 10pm as they were fairly busy.I’ve always been drawn to jazz bars and Lewers Lounge did not disappoint. Ambiance, check. Drinks, check. Soothing, live singer, check. The spouse and I enjoyed a glass of bubbly before calling it a night. Prices weren’t too eye popping. The disappointment of the night? Me. I was so full and tired from our dinner prior to coming here, I was falling asleep! Ugh, still so mad about that.Host & wait service were good.OVERALL:One of the few jazz lounges in the 808.

A really cool place to hear some jazz and have some fantastic drinks. I personally stuck with their classic cocktails like the Sazerac and Manhattan. My wife had a Vesper and an espresso Martini, I want to say. The service was superb and the classic modern interior aesthetic was a treat, And of course the resort that this place is in is also a joy to stroll through.

I loved this place 15 years ago when my wife and I first discovered this hidden gem. Today it is even better than ever. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and music. Even more vibrant than our previous experiences. One of the best lounges of this type we have ever been to.

My friend was visiting and stayed in Waikiki, we were looking for someplace to eat and have a drink and most every place nearby her Hotel was closing soon. So we settled on the Lower Lounge that had jazz entertainment and heavy pupus. The jazz singer/pianist and bassist were excellent and she sang song after song for two hours. The food was pretty good, we tried most everything and were satisfied. It wasn't cheap, but entertaining. Only issue we had was locating it within the Halekulani.

Great venue for the grown crowd. If you're looking for a place where you can drink and hold light conversation, this is it. You can opt to sit at a cocktail table or at the bar. Pianist plays across the spectrum of jazz music with a great base player. Relaxing, comfortable, and perfect for the nightlife explorer who doesn't require loud music. Could be the perfect date night location for those seeking a chill atmosphere. Highly recommended.
