Came here for the first time with my whole family in a loooong time. I absolutely still love their New York Steak and Garlic Shrimp combo.
The plate is packed with food. Most combo plates give a little bit of everything, but this plate gives out a lot of meats. The garlic shrimp is probably top 3 best garlic shrimp plates on the island. I also got the Chicken Katsu plate. It was crunchy and delicious, but nothing special about it. Overall, considering how expensive home has gotten since I left 4yrs ago, this is a pretty decently priced plate lunch that is packed.

Staff is super friendly and fast. They have a few tables to dine on, but not much. The parking is super small and you can easily miss the driveway entrance on the one way road of Vineyard Blvd.

Today I got to try the Sweet Sour Spareribs for $16.45 and it was very tasty and they gave alot. So I ate some and saved the rest for dinner. The worker was very helpful and friendly so they made everything better.

Aloha : L&L is an old school plate lunch tradition that’s been around for years and it shows unfortunately. This location is the original I believe. It’s needs major renovations to make this generation feel more welcome. So many little things could be done to make it feel refreshed. The food is still damn good and it is only take out so can’t complain about that. I just feel in this day and age that all businesses need to do anything they can to modernize and have a better look to attract costumers. Competition is hard and to not care about the look of your establishment can lead to a down tick in sales.

Tried this place as it was close. Have been twice. I enjoy the food overall, I really like their bbq combo plates, and their beefy curry had great flavor. I also like their fried noodles. The laulau was kind of dry and Chili cheese fries weren’t as good as I was expecting, lots of tomato sauce, but edible. There isn’t much seating inside, and the parking lot is small, but I’d still recommend to try it.

The food was awesome, no question about it. The portions are huge and it's all tasty and filling, whether it's the chicken or the shrimp or the beef. The inside is honestly nothing to speak of, and the washroom is through an adjacent alley that runs between the back of house kitchen and the doctor's office next door. It's not appealing at all, but you're there for the food and nothing else.

They absolutely do come through 100% on the food, and nothing else. It's nowhere near the fanciest place to eat on the island, but it does come very close to having the best food period. Have the chicken plate, you won't regret it.

Maybe we order the wrong item. It wasn’t very good. We had a regular lemon chicken and shared it between two of us. Great portion size, OK Mac salad and good sticky rice. The chicken was tough and greasy, and the lemon sauce tasted very artificial.
The lady behind the counter was nice

I don’t think we would go back

It's great to say the least.
delicious.
Not only the main dish, but even the macaroni salad that comes with it is delicious.
The staff who speaks Cantonese is also very charming and wonderful!
A lunch box usually costs just under $20, which can't be helped in this day and age.

Big portions. Pretty good plate lunch options. Your standard Mac salad, rice, mochiko chicken, etc. the garlic shrimp was a little hard to peel, but the garlic and onion mixture was so good with the rice. It's more like a chinese stir fry kinda way to make it rather than the shrimp truck garlic sauce type. Food was ready fast for phone orders.

Ordered the mochiko chicken. Chicken was dry and overcooked. Not a fan of the Mac salad either. Customer service was good.
