6th time here. 6th time 10/10. The Bradda that owns this place is so on it. Food is fast and consistent and his staff is always super friendly. The cold brew is so smooth and the burritos are killer.

Such a fun and delicious spot in Honolulu!
I absolutely loved my visit to Local Joe — their coffee is not only delicious but SO cute🥰😍🤩❤️! I got my photo printed right on the foam, and it turned out amazing. It was almost too cute to drink (but I definitely did!). 😄
I also tried their veggie wrap sandwich, and it was seriously tasty fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. The vibe here is chill and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly.
If you're in Honolulu and want great coffee with a unique twist (plus awesome food), this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Tried out Local Joe and unfortunately it was not a great experience. Everyone working there had an attitude. No smiles, no warmth, just a lot of scowling faces that made the place feel unwelcoming.
The coffee itself wasn’t impressive either. For a specialty coffee shop I expected more depth and quality but it tasted flat and forgettable. When the service is cold and the coffee doesn’t make up for it, it’s hard to justify coming back. Plenty of other spots in town serve better coffee with friendlier vibes.

My favorite coffee shop! I come here almost daily. Caramel macchiato and strawberry matcha latte is a must when coming here, would highly recommend to all my friends and family/visitors in town! Accidentally stopped by 10 mins after closing and they still made me coffee, love that. Thank you local Joe!!

Burnt coffee. Not just a dark roast, The espresso in my americano had no flavor. I prefer dark roast coffee. Better options around town. Shop looked grimey, Not coming back.

Local Joe’s was our family’s first stop after getting off the plane for our first visit to O’ahu. We were warmly greeted by Joe as soon as we walked in. Atmosphere is welcoming. Service was quick. We chose to sit outside on the very nice porch furniture, under umbrellas, in the comfortable shade. Food was all delicious: burritos, omelet, bagels, coffees. The girls enjoyed their French Toast iced lattes. Highly recommend!!

Overpriced and mediocre. The coffee is better than average, but skip the food.

Sadly was disappointed today at what might be my last experince at Local Joe. Have visited this shop a few times over my time on island and have usually always had a great experience to the point where friends and I go out of our way to get coffee and food from here. Today I was rushed to order even though there was no existing line, received the wrong drink item even after clarifing the order before it was created and my breakfast burrito was served to me just slightly above room temperture. I was really looking forward savoring a nice cup of coffee this morning to start a day off but Local Joe's wavierd on their consistency today. Gave a 4 star rating as this hasn't been the norm of my experience and hopeful that this isn't a new standard.

The coffee is a bit overpriced for the quality I received. I have to agree with the burnt taste of the espresso, but the vegan options and food looked really good. No qualms for the service or location near Chinatown. Maybe it was just one batch. Maybe I’ll try again soon…Owner’s comments seem unnecessarily rude

I find it relatively overrated. While their coffee is delicious, their breakfast menu is overpriced and disappointing. All of their coffee drinks are quite sweet, so you may need to adjust the sweetness to your liking. Additionally, the breakfast options are too greasy to finish and become boring quickly. I would recommend just getting coffee instead. It seems that all the positive reviews are for their coffee.
