Fantastic food 100% totally local style. If you have ever wanted to eat like a local I definitely recommend making this place a stop on your itinerary. This place is excellent food at a very reasonable price definitely a must stop destination for each and every one of you stimulus tourist here for vacation from the mainland USA.

Lovely little shop right around the corner from me. Great dumplings at a great price.

She said she makes everything but the bread. Mandu shumai. More egg in her breakfast bento than MCD. Hole in the wall joint that I think is cool. Oh I don't think she makes the cheese cake. Spam musubi I didn't try but bigger than 7-11, $1.45

I've walked and rode the bus past here tons of times on the way home. Everyone's most likely seen this place. It seems like it's been there forever and is one of those places that pique my curiosity. Dirty little hole in the wall joints. Not too sure of the history of the place, but now it's more of a small snack shop. They sell many things here, but one caught my eye. Mandoo. The wife loves mandoo and this place sold "homemade" frozen packs. Recently, I was riding an overly crowded stinky mcnasty dirty bus (yes, I *love* public transportation) and got off early right in front of Louise's to get some breathing room. "This is the day." I said to myself and walked in. The lady was sitting at a small table folding up mandoo as I walked in and quickly got up and waited behind the counter to see what I wanted. I pointed to the sign in the window. "The $8 one please." There's two different prices, I bought the lesser of the two. Something like 25 pieces for $8. It turns out to be quite a bit of food. I asked her a few questions and she gave me a few pointers on how to cook them including how to create a small vinegar/shoyu sauce. I have to say they came out really well! I'm usually not one for mandoo, but these were better than many restaurant ones. *pat on the back* They're definitely larger and taste better than the ones you'd buy at a grocery store. I only made half package and packed the rest back into the freezer for later. I'll definitely be going back to restock the mandoo reserves once they're depleted. The little joint fronts King Street, so most likely parking is in the lot at the rear of the building.
