I've been to Lox before back when I was living on Oahu in 2016, and the staff was very friendly, the bagels were fresh and delicious and well worth the money. The last time I went (2023) they opened late, didn't have any bagels out but a few, the male manning the register was irritated and didn't seem very pleased to be serving. I may give them another chance as I really enjoyed them in the past and their taro and guava bagels are incredible! It's a tiny mom and pop shop, so be prepared to wait, but the inside is clean and the bagels are worth it.

Finally tried Lox of Bagels with positive yelpers' reviews. After navigating the construction on Dillingham Blvd we were able to locate in the area next to the canal. Location appeared worn but clean. About a fourth of the menu board was not available. Ordered a pastrami bagel made like a mild sandwich, the bagel appeared "small" and toasted (was suggested) perhaps it was not baked "fresh/dailey" since there were only about a half of dozen bagels displayed in their showcase behind the counter. The taste was okay and could have been a little more generous in the filling.

Looking for bagels before heading dentist appointment and we found the lox bagels. Like as usual I always ordered Everything bagels with cream cheese. I was surprised the cream cheese they had put it so much and I really liked it and the bagels is served fresh and hot. I will recommend the lox bagels if you are a bagels lovers.

On Yelp and online it says they open at 6:30 but they actually open at 7. I was sooo disappointed to go in and find out the place was closed.I went on Saturday around 10:30 for bagels and nearly everything was completely wiped out. I got taro, everything, and cheese bagels. It costs .25 more for speciality bagels which is basically half the menu. The bagels are delicious for being made here in hawaii. I wish they opened earlier so I could get breakfast here before work in the weekdays.

Bagels were just bad. Not even cooked fully and just overall zero quality. Safer just going to Dunkin instead

I've been coming to Lox of Bagels for YEARS! I have a lot of great memories of picking up the bagel bites (puffs) or bagel chips to take to work. They are still recovering from COVID, And I hope they can make it work in the new location. Back in the day, they were the only good bagel in town. Now there's some steep competition. They still have bagel sandwiches, but they're not currently making the bagel bites (think stuffed bagels, the size of a tennis ball). They used to make these peanut butter ones they were something you could not get anywhere else. They're still a great place to grab breakfast or lunch, and they do have lox! Please, oh please, just bring back the peanut butter puffs!

Love me a good bagel sandwich and this place satisfies my cravings! I think it's kinda hard to mess up a bagel sandwich, so this place does pretty well. I got the bagel sandwich with salmon and with the "works" which adds all the extra things like lettuce, tomato, mayo, etc. Only downside about this place is getting there. With all the rail work at the moment, it's difficult to get into that little shopping area, not their fault just a downside. Also parking lot is just difficult to get into, however it is worth it if you want a good bagel in that area.

Bagels are good but the service and vibe is off. First of all, their parking lot is trash! I've never seen and drove over so many potholes in a parking lot and this place is at a strip mall full of potholes, even in their parking stalls! Idk if it's worth busting your tire just to get a bagel or utilize any of the shops that are part of this center. Anyways, I walked in and it was empty and looked as if the business was going through some trouble. The tables and chairs were stacked and on the side as if they were closing down. The selection used to be generous but now it is sparse and looks empty. Almost displeasing as it seems like it's not as fresh as before. The impression that is. The man who is at the counter taking your order who seems like he could be the manager or owner but he wasn't too friendly or welcoming. Even asking if they had flavored cream cheese and abruptly answered "No. Plain only." I remember this place being busy with full of bagels and schmears but unfortunately no. Looks like they about to close down anytime soon. What a shame ://

By far the BEST bagels on island.I can't believe I have not done a review for Lox of Bagels yet. They are amazing!!!! Perfect bagels every time! I special pre-order a baker's dozen of my favorites, eat them and then reorder again before I've run out. We also order their bagel sandwiches, YUM!!!! My personal favorite is the chicken salad, my husband goes for the club, and our daughter always orders the bagel pizza. I can't say enough great things about this place. It's a little shop with hard working staff and the owner is so nice!!!Mahalo for what you do!!!

Having left the island in 2014- I remember it when it was still on Sand Island- hubby and I frequented there on the weekends because of the tasty bagel sandwiches. I always got the Malangaay bagel.Went in current location, and asked if the Malangaay bagel was still sold. He scoffed and rudely said, " we haven't had that in 10 years". Wow. Thanks for appreciating a customer that would bother to come to your shop just for a bagel. Don't have to be my friend, just suggesting that you check your customer service and how you deliver your message to your customers. Not Aloha at all.

It’s not like it used to be. They only offer plain cream cheese. No flavored or lox. And they only put a thin layer of cream cheese where you can see the bagel. Very disappointing.

I'll preface this by saying I spent my first 25 years living in New York, so I know what a bagel should be. These are not bagels. They look like bagels, but they're simply bagel-shaped bread. They taste like slightly undercooked, dense white bread. I really wanted to love them, but there was nothing to love. I hate panning a locally-owned business, but $54 for two dozen sliced "bagels" (they charge you 10 cents per bagel for slicing!) that ended up being worse than the junk you get at Costco merits a bad review.

Loved loved loved this place! Got the cheese bagel with ham, eggs, cheese, butter & added cream cheese. It sounds typical, but it was a heavy bagel sandwich in the best way! Not only was the bagel good, the service was amazing! I wish I got the names of the workers working that morning, but the energy that they gave off was something else, so kind, so sweet. It was a refreshing start to the morning when you got a grumbling tummy! Very deserving of all 5 stars! Going to try the taro bagel next!!!
