Around the corner from me so I had to check it out! I had heard great things from coworkers too, definitely worth stopping in. The food was tasty but OMG those cookies!! So delicious.

No parking. Just two loading zone spots out front. Not wheelchair accessible. Whoever put that must be smoking crack. Service is not existent. Guy out front took a simple breakfast order from one woman. Breakfast meats just sitting out. Disappeared for several minutes and did not return. This business is a joke. I don’t know how they stay in business.

I love to come to these old mom and pop shops like Lynn's because these shops were plentiful back in the day. And now there are very few left. When you go there parking is almost non existent, you gotta get lucky. The window in the front displays the okazu items for the day, which is not as plentiful a variety from most okazuyas. Their menu is basic local food including Hawaiian food. I ordered three items from the okazu section and was surprised that it came out to $3.50, cheap. I'm going to return and sample the Hawaiian plate or some tripe stew.

Loved the service here.. stopped by right when they open up grab a few containers of cookies to bring on a trip and ended up getting breakfast there too. The service was excellent, he was so friendly. Food was good. I'll be back again to get more cookies!! I love the cookies

Recently moved back to Pauoa and wanted to support local in our area. Called in an order and the guy on the phone was super rude. We kept asking how many choices of meat with the fried rice and he kept repeating what kind with attitude. Drove down there and there is no parking. When my other half walked in the guy was staring at his phone on the wall. Did not greet my bf or say anything. My bf said, "Hello. I picking up an order." The guy said, "For what?" My bf told him his order and he grabbed the container and put it on the counter. He didn't tell my bf how much it costed but there was a price written on the container so my bf put a $20 on the counter. The guy took it and handed him back change and sat back down. My bf said, "Thank you." The guy said, "Yup." Eggs we're cooked nicely and Portuguese sausage were a good size and flavor. Fried rice was not great. It lacked flavor tasted like grease. Due to bad customer service wouldn't return.

Tripe stew is the best!! Always eat the tripe and nothing else. Cone sushi is also really good!

The old guy working there rather play on his phone than serve his customers. Something you expect from a uninspired teenager working at a dingy boba tea shop. I would've waited it out but the cookies ain't worth the time.

5/29/2023: Was just looking for a hole in the wall breakfast place. Even though my mom grew up in this area I had never been here. Definitely got my fix with fried rice, Portuguese sausage, and eggs. Can't beat the price. $20 for 2 plates. The cookies looked so good but I forgot to pick some up when I left. Definitely next time!

My favorite Hawaiian breakfast, Chicken Long Rice and Cookies on Oahu?We used to live close by but moved to North Shore so haven't had them for awhile. Went back today and still great taste and love to see the uncle and aunties keep the shop great! Best local Hawaiian plates and homemade cookies!

This place is awesome. I got the fried rice, egg and a hamburger patty. The fried rice was really flavorful and had bacon or spam in it. The hamburger patty was a lot like a Japanese kind and was soft and well seasoned. The scrambled egg was perfect. The seating inside is small but it's a classic diner setting. It's exactly the kind of place you want to go to get a ton of food for cheap that has way more flavor than you paid for.

I had the pork cutlet and hubby had hamburger steak. We heard the gravy is good so we wanted to check it out. It's good! The portions are very healthy. The Mac salad was cold and tasty!! The price is cheap...they could raise the prices if they wanted to. I would pay up to $15 for my plate but it was ONLY $12!! Friendly fast and tasty!!

Bad customer service. I went around 1225 and the guy was on his phone and didn't even greet or ask if I had any questions.

This place has some really great food. We came here for breakfast and had the fried rice with eggs and bacon. The fried rice is the star here. Good portion for decent prices. A few things to note, parking is very hard to come by. Also a lot of the breakfast meats and rice are pre-made and sitting out in the store front window protected inside by a screen so food is not made to order. The place is very small so it's probably best for pick up.
