First time here, and the food was outstanding! I had fried chicken and Pancit for just $10.00 and ice water for a drink. Highly recommend. Small location, great food options, and friendly customer service. Has the old school mom and pop restaurant feel.

Have your fill of Ilocano home style cooking at M&N near Tamashiro Market along King Street. Flavorful Ilocos foods of adobo, dinengdeng, pinakbet, chicken marungay, sweet or vinegar longanisa and more! Not oily, salty or overcooked but just right! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Dine in for a step back in time (70's vibe) and place (Laoag provinicial neighborhood); warp into the Philippines for delicious meal.
Beware of 3% surcharge on credit card payments AND limited street parking. 2 & 3 choice plates are as high as $16 (outdated online pricing).
3-choice of pancit, dinuguan (Choco meat), pinakbet & longanisa (sweet & vinegar), heaven!

I enjoyed a delicious fish and noodle side dish. The veggies were great too. A very warm welcoming place with delicious food.
I love this place. It's a mom and pop kind of phillipino restaurant.

I am by no means an expert on Filipino food, but have had a number of dishes, some cooked by home cooks, others at restaurants, and even took a stab at adobo pork in my own kitchen. Reviews on TripAdvisor were sparse and quite dated, but other resources also conveyed positive sentiments. My experience was anything but positive, so perhaps I caught them on a bad day. My wife and I arrived a bit before noon. The place was empty. We looked at what was available, all of it in a steam table. The lumpia were ok, but not as good as other versions I have had. They had no pork or chicken adobo, and this was disappointing. I got some pancit, and it was again ok, but certainly not special. The fried chicken was dried out. My wife also had the pancit, plus a dish with some form of meat and beef liver. It is possible that when prepared the liver was tender. After perhaps hours in a steam table it was anything but tender. The dish had all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. I do not mind hole-in-the-wall places with near zero ambience as long as the food is good. This place certainly had that neglected cafeteria vibe, and the food did not make up for it. Service, such as it was, was fine. I don't enjoy bashing places, but there was very little to recommend here. The food was mediocre at best. The ambience matched the food. The restaurant is not exactly in a wonderful part of town, and was a trek from where we were staying. It's not an effort I would repeat. This was a disappointment.
I have been a customer for over 10 years and the taste of the food is the same. No one beat the taste of their pinapaitan. So if you are looking for a good Filipino cuisine go their you'll keep going back.
