I love this place, if I could go here everyday I probably would! I love maiz con yelo and have such a hard time finding it anywhere! The corn ice cream is to die for. I definitely recommend this place!

Nov 1, 2024. 7:45pm. Younger lady working kept complaining openly to her older coworker in front of customers that she needs to keep making shakes. The customers before me ordered two shakes. One was supposed to be ube but she made strawberry and only realized her mistake when she was about to give it to the customer. The worker gets a free strawberry shake for herself now; coincidence? Regardless, she had to make another shake coz of her error and then when it was my turn to order, she was bummed that I was ordering a shake. While she was making my shake, she continued complaining to her older associate as to why everyone wanted shakes tonight instead of ice cream. I get it, it’s harder to make a shake vs just scooping ice cream BUT we pay more for the shake AND it’s not like they were busy. There was just another person after me and she was picking up an already made DoorDash order. Complain all you want but don’t complain in front of customers. It’s very unprofessional and you’re making customers feel awkward for ordering something you’re too lazy and incompetent to make. It’s really NOT that hard!

The best halo-halo spot. Wanted a dessert after eating at Egghead next door. I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream to share.

The place got busy. The worker was by herself, and she was telling us that she has online orders too. She was starting to feel overwhelmed.

Anyway, we had coffee ice cream and corn queso ice cream. The coffee ice cream just did it to complete our brunch.

I love this place! I went here with my family and the staff were very pleasant. I strongly reccomend getting a half scoop of green tea icecream and a half scoop of vanilla.

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always been great but for my last order I got the ube jam ice scramble and for some reason it tasted like there’s vodka in it. It wasn’t very good, so don’t bother trying it.

Ratio of ice cream to shave ice was off. Received what seemed to be 1/4 a scoop of ice cream followed by 1 cup of barely flavored li hing mui shaved ice piled on top of that. My friend and I got the same dish and spent $15. Staff was also a little rude. When I asked to build my own (it’s an option listed on the menu), the worker was hesitant to accommodate me and proceeded to say “most people just pick our listed dishes and make slight changes to that”. I had to reiterate that I wanted to build my OWN. Another worker had to step in and take my order. Safe to say, won’t be visiting again.

An unsatisfactory experience I encountered during my recent visit. Despite placing an order for halo-halo, I endured a wait of 25 minutes, only to observe subsequent customers receiving their orders ahead of mine. This situation not only prolonged my wait but also left me feeling undervalued as a patron. Additionally, when I requested a refund due to the unsatisfactory service, I was surprised to find that despite the disappointing experience and the substandard customer service, an extra charge of 35 cents was levied on my card. This additional fee, coupled with the prolonged wait and inadequate treatment, only served to exacerbate the dissatisfaction with the overall service received.

I loved the Halo Halo. Perfect ratio of the ingredients. The ice cream flavors are tasty. Excellent service, very cheerful ?.

wow, so absolutely divine! I always loved halo halo and today their mahalo halo just totally hit that spot, was looking for a place to eat an ice cream cake to wallow in my bummy feelings and decided that to be the exact remedy of choice!!! I'll be sure to be back soon as the customer service was excellent ? I didn't catch his name but he worked in the early afternoon....super! Mahalo halo ?
