Still the best sushi in Waikiki and some of the best I have ever had. Found them at their new location (third location since I found them on a visit many years ago). I would be happy to go here every day for dinner. Super nice and excellent quality sushi. Clearly professionals, each piece of sashimi is uniform and cut perfectly, absolutely fresh, and beautiful presentation despite getting it to go. I hate the line but I hope the line returns for this outstanding business. Always a highlight of my trip to Oahu.

I had a pretty high expectation for this place, having tried quite a few other highly rated poke places in Oahu. I'm quite picky when it comes to anything raw fish and I have to say I was rather disappointed by the poke bowls here. My friend ordered the chili sauce and I ordered ume shiso. Both were surprisingly bland (and I'm typically okay with lighter sauce to not overpower the fresh flavour of tuna), and the rice was not exactly up to the quality. I'm also surprised the rice wasn't even sushi rice. Anyway, overall I enjoyed Maguro Spot much more compared to this shop. The additional premium is worth it.

Thry open at 5pm and the line was 15 ppl deep by opening time. Thry sold out of the big eye Toro in the first 20 minutes. Their sashimi is fantastic. I was not a huge fan of their poke as they use some chewier parts of the fish. Overall, I recommend the sashimi dons over the poke.

Pro-tip: arrive before 5:30pm to avoid the line wrapping all the way up the stairs! They moved to this new location and it’s tucked away downstairs next to a waffle spot.This is a MUST stop every time we come to Oahu, which is usually once or twice a year! Their poke and fish are so fresh! We usually get the mixed Chirashi and upgrade to chutoro and add a side of Uni. Their service is fast, and demand is high, so I like to be patient and kind when ordering since they are so busy! It’s worth the hype!
