This spot was near our resort - it was really convenient to get food and the staff were really friendly! They have vegetarian and vegan options.

Fast service. I have had better poke in my town in California, so...

This was the first thing we ate when we got to Hawaii.
The food was alright, a bit disappointed NGL. The cashier was also unorganized and defensive whenever he made mistakes. He and the other employees gave racist comments to an elderly man infront of me knowing he couldn't understand.

I had salad & #2 poke. Both were fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

If in doubt on which poke place to try, visit this place first. The poke is made fresh, which is a different approach to the otherwise premade ones elsewhere. There are many options and combinations for ingredients, toppings and condiments. Personally, the store recommended ones are the best way to start as their flavour profiles and textures felt the most balanced compared to my own creations.

There are long queues at different times of the day, but we managed to order just before the crowds started. Seating is available next to the store.

The portions here are shockingly small for the price. A small bowl is $7 for only 2oz, and a medium bowl is $13 for just 4oz. The poke itself has no flavor, and honestly, it didn’t taste as fresh as other spots in Waikiki.

I live here for months, and I usually go to Waikiki Market instead—their poke portions are huge, the fish is cut into nice large cubes, and the marination is flavorful and fresh. If you head to Ala Moana, Foodland is a much better option than here as well.

I wouldn’t recommend visitors waste their money at Maguro Spot. Save your appetite and check out Waikiki Market or Foodland instead—you’ll get way better quality and value.

Food is amazing first of all! You can order online and they have a barcode to skip waiting in line to order, so I appreciated that. Customisable poke bowls are great.
There are tables and benches outside to sit under. There were a couple little birds flying around us, but it wasn't a bother.
Wasn't too expensive, so I'd recommend for anyone in the area.

Long line but it moves quickly, we received our bowls about a minute after ordering. The tuna was so fresh and buttery soft, I got it with house and teriyaki sauce which was tasty but they don’t use so much it overrides the fish. The whole bowl was so tasty.

It’s mediocre.
Sushi is fresh, but the rice was dry.
I wanted to try since I drove by everyday.
The staffs are friendly and nice, but I won’t go back since rice was dry. 😂
Guys, rice is really important. It either adds value or degrade of the food.
