The food taste overall was very good, and for the price per meal, it was reasonable, especially compared to take-out or fast food. It was a much healthier option that what we were doing before. It took a little bit of time to learn how to use the subscription service, but the person I spoke with was kind, friendly, and helpful. Once I learned how to choose meals on a weekly bases, it was pretty easy. If you're looking for a healthy and fresh option for yourself or a family member, I would strongly recommend trying Malama Meals. As a weekly customer for the past two-plus years, I can say they have been the best when it comes to communication, meal quality, variety, and customer service – everything!Unfortunately, I'm moving off island, so I'm sad to have to cancel my weekly subscription. Our first time back to the restaurant since its revival. The food was average, like took the local plate lunch and ʻfancied ʻit up on a plate. We went with a group of people and the music was so loud we could not have conversation. Server was very good. Recommendation if you go, donʻt go if you want to talk with someone on a music night, plan on $$$for an average plate lunch and not too close to closing time..it was obvious we were delaying them and there was still 1/2 hour to close.

My parents are so pleased with their meals from Malama Meals Oahu! The portions are just right, the food is so fresh, healthy, not greasy and super tasty!( they are often 'picky' eaters). We are also impressed with the very good delivery service from courteous Kevin who lets us know when he's enroute. Lauren is so helpful and responded immediately to my request to change our first order at the last minute as well as respond to billing questions and is very understanding of my need for online credit card security. My parents and I are so happy with Malama Meals food quality and customer service--such a blessing for kupuna!

This was my first time here even though I have lived in HNL all of my life. I enjoyed it a ton. We had a pancake, Teri chicken, chicken papaya and a garden salad. Teri chicken was cooked perfectly and not overly sauced like some place. With that sprinkle of green onions over the top. The Mac salad was better than I thought and it had potato chunks too! Garden salad was nice and not iceberg lettuce. Mixed greens w/ the dressing on the side. Perfect. Then the chicken papaya soup came w/ kalamunguy leaves. Beautiful and tasty. Little chili pepper and a ginger piece too. It was perfect. I was surprised that I have never eaten there before but definitely want to ck it out again!

I was never the best at meal prep but this company took meal prep to a whole new level! It’s also a healthy alternative instead of making stops to the drive thru or frozen dinners after a long day and are too tired to cook. Her meals also compliment your work outs if you’re on a weight loss journey with the right amount of nutrients (lots of veggies lol), proteins, and carbs. The online ordering system is user-friendly and she has images of the meals she is preparing for the week. The staff is also extremely friendly and accommodating! You can pick up at the Nimitz business center near “Other Realms” or they deliver! Just make sure to get your order in before Sunday for it to make it on the next delivery! Don’t forget to tip your driver! They work really hard to get you your delicious meals! If you’re new to healthier food, it may take a bit to get used to it but once you do it’s totally delicious and I highly recommend this business to help you make that adjustment to healthier food options. You won’t regret it!

My husband and I love these meals. There is something for everyone. The portions are great and knowing the ingredients are healthy and the preparation is truly mindful for clean eating. I order the regular portion and my husband the large. We are satiated after each delicious meal. What I enjoy most is the time saved on grocery shopping, preparation, meal planning, cost and convenience! Leaves me time for other things in life. Delivery is always done with much care and respectful of COVID guidelines. So happy Malama Meals makes our lives healthier and stress free

I can't say enough good things about this company! Their food is incredibly delicious, healthy, and convenient! This sounds like I was paid to say this lol but this is 100% how a business should be run. Lauren is great at communication and making sure her customers are happy. I just renewed my subscription and honestly it's one of the highlights of my week to get my delivery and see what new delicious meals I have for the week! I feel like I have a gourmet chef cooking for me every week and I'm constantly bragging about my food when I bring it with to work! lol

Malama Meals is as good, nutritious and delicious as a meal service like this could possibly be. I'm actually saving money because the cost of food is so high here in Hawaii, even when taking into account that I was buying most of my groceries at Costco. And if I include my savings in time with Malama by not having to shop, prepare meals or doing all the cleanup and washing dishes I used to do, then it's a total no-brainer.I have about ten recipes I've been relying upon for the last 20 years. Malama Meals are so much more interesting and tasty than 99% of the meals I prepare.I think the owner is a genius as everything seems to operate without a hitch each week from website ordering and meal selection to convenient delivery windows. It’s all so ridiculously effortless (and did I mention DELICIOUS?) that I really can't afford not using this service. Also, the owner is a former public school educator with her heart and soul in the right place for giving back to the community.I cannot think of a single criticism or thing that I'd change. Malama Meals is really perfect.
