Wow! Incredible food! Don't walk.. run here!Authentic columbian flavors, everything made from scratch. Next to this food truck, is his buddy's truck where her serves up Dominican fare. I got Empanadas from Alex & this wicked marinated grilled vegetable plate from Felix. These vegetables are insane! The garlic, Adobe... and homemade sauces are yummy!

Delicious, handmade, fresh with many fillings to choose from and super flavorful homemade sauces(I love the green sauce the best). Super nice guy! Best food I've had in Waikiki!

I love their food but can't for the life of me catch them downtown (where I work) or Waikiki (where I live). They never open downtown during their 11-2 hours and I've tried to go to the one in Waikiki at 5:30pm and it wasn't open. Frustrating!

On our first night in Waikiki, our Lyft driver and locals told us we had to try The famous empanadas. They said we couldn't leave without trying them. And let me tell you guys, NOT Disappointed, they're delicious, tasty and more. Delicious Colombian cuisine !
I am very upset. I have tried now four times to go to Mami's Empanadas downtown, and each time they have been closed, with no warning posted on yelp. I went yesterday and spoke to the woman working there through the door, and she indicated that they would be open today. So I walked there today, and they were again closed!! Nothing posted on yelp - it still says "open now" even though they aren't. There went 20 minutes of my lunch break to walk to there and back. Don't bother going there unless you call first. I may be done and may not ever go back.

On our last night in Hawaii, we were on the lookout for some good food, which was close to our hotel, and wasn't too pricey. This place hits every spot. Everything was fantastic. The gentleman running the whole thing explained all the sauces to us and made all the empanadas fresh. They're air fried so they're not greasy, just light delicious and tasty. If they have the three cheese, you will want to try that.

People take time and energy to look up new places to eat. If you're running a food truck, you need to update your social media (yelp/facebook) about your hours so that people can look elsewhere. Took a long time to get to this place since it's in Waikiki and there was no sign on their truck or anything. I called twice and got a text message that they were catering for the day. Show you care as a business and let people know if you're changing your hours.
