Located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace store upstairs of International Marketplace. We visited after the second stay at home shut down because of Covid. So there were only mainly residents walking around. Good place to visit if you are visiting Oahu! Nice creamy boba shakes. The flavors are subtle but refreshing.

We decided to try this after Modo Donuts was already closed on Sunday. There was one employee. They offer a small selection of flavors but hey the theme is Matcha. They are reasonably priced for being in Waikiki. The flavor is very faint for both the matcha and the mango. After about half way through you taste nothing. As shown in the photo, they leave the center hollow. Thumbs down. They are very strict on parking validation. You must spend $10 in order to receive a validation ticket. So beware. The customers in front of us returned their bubble drinks and asked it to be remade as they did not taste any flavor as well. Worth a try if you love matcha but I wouldn't set my hopes too high. The reason for high ratings must be the physical aesthetic of the ice cream itself. This isn't something I would drive back in town to have again.

Located in the Mitsuwa Market in Waikiki, this place is just one of the several amazing food and/or dessert stands. They serve ice cream, lattes, smoothies as well as other canned drinks. Food and drinks are more on the authentic and stronger tastes rather than milk.

I was on the hunt for delish matcha ice cream and stumbled upon this1. Was given a sample of the ice cream, yayyyy! I always feel like I am winning when I get samples haha. 2. Ordered the matcha/sesame combo. Apparently I wasn't allowed to mix matcha w/vanilla. wah. It was creamy though and tasty. 3. The CONE WAS STALE! wth. I was too tired and on vacation to go back and complain, so I just ate the ice cream and moved on. I've had better in the area and likely won't be back.

I love, love, love Matcha. The irony to find a place like this. If you like soft serve this is the stuff for you. For people who love matcha and for people who have yet to try it, i believe this could be the one item that will get you hooked.

I have liked everything that I've tried here so far. They're known for their green tea soft serve. However, they have a seasonal flavor, azuki red bean. We got the usual three flavor in a waffle bowl. We couldn't decide if we wanted to get the red bean. My hubby doesn't like red bean and I do. Of course, I won and got my way, haha!We ordered the waffle bowl with red bean, hojicha, and black sesame. He ended up really liking the red bean and saying that it was his favorite out of the three, lol. My favorite was the hojicha (roasted green tea). The black sesame was yummy too. You could taste the black sesame flavor. My son likes green tea, so he got it in a cup. He ended up eating and liking the red bean flavor as well.

Perfect stop for ice cream after a bowl of delicious ramen. Located in Mitsuwa's in International Market place. Had the triple bowl with green tea, black sesame & hoji flavors. The waffle bowl was a great way to eat the ice cream goodness. All the flavors were yummy but my favorite was hoji - roasted green tea. We also had a cup of green tea with ginger, very tasty too. Stop by for a treat next time you're in the area.

We stumbled upon this little store while checking out Mitsuwa and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious their treats were. Their black sesame shake with boba is hands down one of my and my husband's drinks of all time. It's creamy, refreshing, and has a rich black sesame flavor. The honey boba is big, well-textured, and the right amount of sweet for me (granted, I do have a sweet tooth). We ended up coming here almost every day just to get this drink. The trio was also another of our favorites. While we love love love the popular Japanese-style parfaits like the ones you get at Nana's Green Tea and Maiko's, sometimes you just want ice cream and the trio delivers: three generous servings of black sesame, green tea, and hojicha (red/black tea) soft and creamy ice cream on an edible waffle dish. For a next level experience, add honey boba to this. You will not regret it!

Matcha matcha matcha!! Came for matcha! Ended up moving their black sesame. Whoops! It's inside the market. Pretty expansive counter with all things matcha. But not as enticing as it should be. They have drinks; they have soft serve! And a bunch of other matcha related goodies. I ended getting the matcha and black sesame swirl since I got other stuffs from this food court. The modos and drinks. Matcha was the only missing part. Surprise how much I liked it! Their black sesame was super delicious. Minus 1 star for the swirl almost ending up on the floor.. the girl behind the counter got the ice cream so titled, it actually came off the cone. Luckily, I had a near empty cup of water: off it go!

Looking for Matcha Love in all the right places?Matcha Love is located inside the Mitsuwa Japanese Market on the second floor of the International Marketplace. Take the escalator near the Kuhio Avenue entrance; Mitsuwa will be on the left, opposite Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats (another favorite of mine).I've tried and like all of the available flavors, including the current seasonal flavor, mango, which is smooth and yummy. You can get two flavors combined in a twist (cone or bowl) or three flavors in a waffle bowl. I'm also partial to the black sesame, hoji, and matcha flavors. You may ask for a sample. This is what convinced me to order the mango & hoji twist!Be sure to get a customer loyalty card, with the reward at your 10th purchase.

Located in a cute food court in a busy city of International Market place. I'm a big fan of sesame ice cream flavor, and I was fortunate to have tried out this place. Their soft served ice cream with matcha and black sesame flavor is DELICIOUS. $6 for a large order which is quite cheap compared to other places. If we ever visit Honolulu again, we'll definitely come back for more ice cream!!

It was really thick and creamy. Makes you really full. I usually like matcha but for this I love more sesame. I want to come back again .

I love their matcha iced tea! They also have matcha lattes too and of course soft serves! They have matcha or sesame flavors. They have in a waffle cone or simply in a cup. This spot is located in the Mitsuwa market in the International marketplace!
