This McDonald’s had resturant seating closed and no restrooms open to wash your hands. Homeless sleeping in the front of the resturant.

Honestly, I’m not the type to leave reviews, but this experience left me really frustrated.
I was charged $0.99 for a coffee at the McDonald’s on Kalakaua Ave in Honolulu — and never got the drink. I tried contacting customer service twice and was told someone from the store would follow up. No one ever did. I even spent a good amount of time trying to fix this while I was on vacation, which just added to the frustration.
It’s not about the 99 cents — it’s about the complete lack of follow-through. After all this, I was basically told to go back to the same location that ignored me in the first place. I’ve wasted hours over something that should’ve been resolved with a quick refund and an apology. Case #: 33112199
Really disappointed in how this was handled. Not sure I’ll be going back to McDonald’s anytime soon.

Hands down the dirtiest, filthiest McDs Ive ever been in. spilled drinks all over the floor, food all over the floor, food, preparation area, full of food debris, fountain soda machines have spilled soda everywhere. It was absolutely disgusting in this place. I don't know where the department of health is in Honolulu, but they need to do an inspection of this place quickly. The line of customers was out the door waiting for their meals. There were homeless people living inside here. Avoid at all costs

Waited 35 minutes for 40 Chicken nuggets and a small coke slushi. Poor/no communication between McDonald's Team members. The crowd that had amassed waiting was irate. You could cut the tension with a knife. Would your order be correct or would you be waiting an additional 5-10 minutes for the correction? Keep in mind there is NO DRIVE THROUGH at this location. Most uncomfortable wait at a McDonalds I've ever had due to the atmosphere.
Fortunately my order was correct and the food was fine.
