Very good pineapple juice from here.
Amazing experience at Meataly Boys! The quality of the meat was exceptional—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re a meat lover, this spot is a must-visit

Get the steak plate, always cooked perfectly. Macaroni salad is the best on Waikiki

Went twice on our week long trip. You order at the bar. The food is great! This food hall is way less crowded than the one next door and I could not tell you why. Meataly boys over L&L for sure.

Ordered the loco moco. The patty was dry and chewy. The gravy tasted like it was made from an instant gravy pack. Disappointing experience for my first time having loco moco. The kimchi and the macaroni salad on the side was the saving grace for the dish.

I was excited to try the beef curry at Meatly Boys, and the flavor didn't disappoint! It was really good. However, I have to be honest, as a 160-pound guy, I was hoping for a bit more food. It felt a little light. For the price, a slightly bigger portion would definitely make it a better deal.

Oh, the food was so nasty, so sad, so absurd,
It deserves its own rhyme—so here is my word:
After traveling all day, I said, “Let’s eat grand!”
I ordered shrimp steak with a salad in hand.
My son got garlic shrimp—it seemed a safe bet,
But what came to our table? A meal I regret.
We waited an hour, the clock slowly ticked,
By the time it arrived, I thought I’d been tricked.
My shrimp steak was cold, my son’s was half-warm,
Like it napped on the counter, avoiding the storm.
The man at the counter? He misunderstood,
Like I spoke through a foghorn—nothing was good.
Our food was all wrong, the effort seemed grim,
Like the chef had just quit in the middle of whim.
No photos were taken; it was just too much,
My poor little camera would never recover from such.
A waste of our money, a touristy scam,
This place is a joke, a poorly planned sham.
If “misplaced ambition” is your kind of plate,
Then sure, give it a shot—but I’d hesitate.
The only thing hot? My frustration, for sure,
Skip this sad spot and find food that’s pure!

Dirty tables. Unseasoned meat. No sauces available. Overpriced. Avoid this!
Next time, read the reviews on Google Maps before eating at any place. I write a lot of reviews and in general I would read reviews. Unfortunately today, the place I wanted to go was closed (the burger place), so I just randomly picked this place, it was a mistake. This place would have been a solid 3* in California and probably even a 4* somewhere in Omaha; however with all the good food here in Oahu, this place should be rated a 2*. I had the beef and chicken combo. The chicken was dry and hard to chew (way overcooked), the beef was thinly sliced, so it wasn’t as bad as the chicken, but still cooked too long (need to do a better training of its cook); the macaroni salad was not good at al and certainly it can’t compare with some of the other local favorites in town. I actually broke three plastic forks trying to pick up the chicken, not joking. I can’t complaint about the quantity as it was enough for lunch. But the good thing is that the sitting area was very comfortable and relaxing, away from the businesses on the first floor. In case you are interested in its location, it is on the third floor, Building C of the Royal Hawaiian Center.

•Steak was unseasoned
•Mac salad was literally mac, oil and salt. No salad to it
•Kimchi was a small portion of hard, crunchy and limited sauce; needed to be marinated a LOT longer
• Chicken was unseasoned and burnt
• Menu didn't match item or portions shown online
• Rice was the best part of the meal which is sad quite frankly

Restaurantji Recommends
You can enjoy the standard Japanese Yakiniku set meal.
This was useful because I was tired of American taste and wanted to try Japanese taste.
However, although there are onions in the photo, the Yakiniku bento I purchased did not include them, which is a shame.

Don't ever go there. It wasn't tasty and it took over 10 minutes to get the order and over 30 minutes for the food to come out. There is no one in the kitchen and they bring you food made by another restaurant.

I don’t ever “not recommend” a place however, this will be my first time. I have no idea if they have multiple locations but they don’t have the options that you see people loved there’s a limited menu when you place an order they walk over to another booth called the shrimp booth and those people fix the order, everything is really bland and the steak was tough the Mac salad being in Hawaii and having it taste like that was also a bummer. The menu on the counter had a lot of things blocked off and said sold out they don’t have sausage they don’t have gravy they don’t have condiments like salt and pepper so I went over to the shrimp place and got my condiments. They also messed up my order, but fixed it. This is in a food court. My husband’s order was also unimpressive and bland.

This is Korean-style kimchi. The meat is delicious, you don't have to worry about tipping, and considering the cost of living in Waikiki, it's great. It suits Korean tastes well.
