Great late night spot to grab a sweet treat. It gets very crowded and noisy, so be prepared. Located on ground floor of Ala Moana by starbucks.

What an incredible spot showcasing a wide range of Taiwanese desserts. On Friday night, the place was absolutely packed—every table, every seat taken, with people lining up outside. It’s clearly a hot spot, likely helped by its location inside the mall. There’s another dessert spot there too, called Jeju Bing, known for its Korean-style shaved ice. Over at the McCully Shopping Center, there’s a much smaller but equally interesting Taiwanese dessert shop called Coffee or Tea. In Waikiki, you’ll find Mosa, which leans more toward ice cream with shaved peanuts—it’s a local favorite. Not far from Mosa, there’s another hidden gem called Nana, tucked inside the Stix basement Asian food court. They serve an excellent roasted matcha soft serve that’s definitely worth trying.

Not one of the better Meet Freshes. The shaved ice resembled a chunk of ice (see the pictures), the flavor seemed to be off from what I was used to. And there’s no bathroom. The touch screen on the automated ordering system wasn’t working properly, but thankfully there was no line at the counter (I wonder why). The sitting area was clean. This is a hard pass for us.

It's very different from the photo on the menu.
I don't think the taste is different from other stores.

Ordered drinks and a signature dessert with toppings with my brother. We returned home with stomachaches. Unsure if the food was clean or not. Would not come back again!

The food is pretty tasty and enjoyable to go through the process of trying. A very wide selection of treats and snacks. Not too dietary friendly for allergies besides nut allergies. Wasn't very busy, but they had just opened. Comfortable environment plenty of seating.

Tasty and refreshing if you get iced dessert. Lots of seating. A little expensive for what it is.

A solid choice for a quick frosty dessert. We tried the Mango shaved ice today and added boba and super q mochi, which was flavorful but not my favorite texture (being dusted in powder). Staff were friendly and the self order kiosk was straightforward, but I do wish they had some photos of what all the different additional toppings looked like. Mango was tart and sweet, the way I prefer it, and that tower was definitely tall! Pretty good size for three people to tackle.

Taiwanese shaved ice chain, with all the typical toppings you would see at an actual shaved ice place in Taiwan. We got the build your own shaved ice, enough for 2. Bit of an acquired taste, but if youre a true Asia foodie, you *literally* cant get more authentic than this. I make my husband bring me here every time we are in Honolulu to satisfy my sweet tooth.

First time here. It's overwhelming with their desserts. So many options and toppings. Some tables are dirty because they have nobody to clean them while busy. Every employee was behind the counter making orders.
I had the purple rice milk tea and my friend got taro paste fresh. I think this place is perfect for those who like treats with tad sweetness. Everything seems very fresh and not artificial like other typical milk tea shops. Their standard sweet is like 25% sweetness or even less compared to other boba shops.
It was good overall but not as good obviously because it's on the healthier side.
I might come bacn and try their shaved ice and pudding. Those seem to be their signature items.

We came into Fresh Meet for a Father’s Day treat and got the icy kalo balls. They had three or four different types of mochi. I enjoyed the taro flavor; it wasn't too sweet. I will definitely return to try another signature bowl.

Something different to do. My niece told me to try it out. It's located first floor of ala moana, bus stop side towards the post office. We got the double taro signature. It has a scoop of vanilla ice cream, so of mushed taro, sweet potato & taro mochi balls (the employees didn't know how to explain what it was), I think it was coffee jelly, some kind of cream, half-n-half (cup for you to pour) and shave ice. It's like having filipino halohalo inside filipino mochi soup dessert (ginitaan). It tasted OK, when the ice cream started to melt and it stated to get cold from the ice. The mochi balls didn't really have taste but it had a good texture.

The bubble waffle is over hyped. The table was sticky and they don't clean/wipe the tables after people leave. It wasn't busy. Everything is self service yet they ask for tip.I didn't like the music. That being said, I would return to try other items.
