It was really slow. We decided to stop to get some Chinese food. The food was ok could’ve been better. We ordered five dishes with no drinks. It came out to be $108 for 2 people . Which was crazy while we were eating, they were sweeping and mopping, which was disgusting and trying to eat with the flies was just hideous. Never again. Sorry but I’m Just being real!

Tasty enough food but was worried one dish didn't have fully cooked meat inside. The service assumes you know how the place works for ordering. The atmosphere is a neat local Chinese restaurant.

Be patient when coming here. But the wait is worth it. I had a couple of different dumplings and some dim sum as well as some little custard pies. Really friendly folks, just not a real fast-paced environment. I really enjoyed my stop here and wish I had been just a little more hungry because everything looks fantastic.

Average dim sum. Baos have too much dough compared to filling. Egg tarts have too much pastry to filling. Tripe was not very flavorfull. Sesame balls were hard. Har Kow and shui mei were large portions.

We've had dim sum all over the world, from Hong Kong to Singapore, San Francisco and London. Not the best quality dim sum we've had but still pretty good for the location and price paid. casual dining atmosphere.

Food is decent, customer service hit or miss. Watch your reciept, and how many items you eat. You might end up being charged for extra plate.

It's a favorite place for dim sum. Delicious traditional eats. Very quick service. The other entrees are good too.
Easy parking too which for Chinatown which is a HUGE plus.
Amazing food and amazing prices!
Will definitely come back :)

Place is decent and looks old. But me and the family does not mind that. People ask me why I still go for Chinese food anywhere I go. Of course, the ingredients are different. So here we are at Mei Sum. The pork siewmai was a bit salty. No more soy sauce needed. Pair it with white rice and it balances the saltiness. We also ordered shrimp hargao and that is my recommendation. Love the crunchiness added in it. The other one I will recommend is the turnip cake. Look fan with chasiu is ok. Beef balls is also good. I can hear our servers are speaking Cantonese so I feel I am back like a spacious Hong Kong dimsum house.

We had only a few hours to kill in Honolulu and decided to wander around the arts/Chinatown district. Someone in a shop nearby recommended this place. It's pretty awesome! A little low rent of a room but the food and prices are excellent :-). Great Shrimp Look Fan!

They have the biggest sesame balls i have ever seen. Incredibly delicious! Everything is good, especially the shrimp dumplings and char shu buns.
