Tired of the same ol same ol? Well, my husband and I came here to Mimi’s Peruvian Restaurant for his birthday. A small “mom and pop” type restaurant. What a treat!! We ordered the ceviche and papa Huancaina as appetizers. Both were delicious and authentic Peruvian cuisine. For our main we ordered Arroz con Mariscos (seafood rice). It was very tasty; Nicely seasoned and the presentation was beautiful. The service was outstanding. We had a chance to speak to the chef who was kind and informative. It’s also a byob. Major points in my opinion. We highly recommend this restaurant. Come and give your taste buds a treat!

Two co-workers and I were in the Keeaumoku area just after 12pm and tried Mimi’s Peruvian Cuisine for lunch. There was some trepidation because the place was empty, not a good sign in our book. Our server was very friendly and brought over a dish of fried chips and two small dishes of (very spicy) Aji and Salsa Verde. (FYI, this is not free.)We ordered Seco De Carne (slow-cooked beef with beans and rice), Arroz Con Pollo (slow-cooked cilantro rice with two chicken thighs) and Tallarine Huancainos Con Pollo (pasta w/cheese and strips of chicken in huancainos sauce). The food was well-seasoned and prepared properly. The beef in the Seco De Carne was very tender and the chicken in the Arroz Con Pollo remained moist. I loved the tallarine pasta; it was al dente and so flavorful. I also liked the heat of the aji (chili) and added it atop my chicken. The bill came to $65, excluding tip. We liked the food and wished Mimi’s was located downtown. Bottom line: I would definitely want to return and can recommend Mimi's.

I went here with my friend on Friday, and the restaurant was full. After trying some pasta and their famous ceviche, I finally understand why there is so many customers. EVERYTHING tastes sooooo good! Not to mention how friendly they are, I even can take a picture with the chef and Mimi, the owner of the house. I will bring more friends to try this restaurant next time, what a hidden gem.

Needs to improve the hygiene of the dinning area, specially the tablecloths. No restroom available to wash your hands.Steak very grease and uncooked! Pasta overcooked and lack of seasoning. The rice with seafood was ok except the octopus was like chewing pieces of rubber.Be aware they validate just one hour of parking.

I visited Mimi’s Peruvian cuisine with my friend after seeing them on the morning news. It’s the first time we tried Peruvian food, and I heard they are the Only Peruvian restaurant in the island. Everything tastes so amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Definitely come back again

Mimi's Peruvian Cuisine deserves every bit of its five stars! The ceviche is an absolute standout, undoubtedly the best on the island – a burst of freshness and flavor that keeps me coming back for more. Equally impressive is their Lomo Saltado, a delicious harmony of ingredients that showcases their culinary expertise.Beyond the delectable dishes, the warmth and friendliness of the chef, waitress, and Mimi herself elevate the dining experience. The team radiates the Aloha spirit, making every visit a joyous occasion. Mimi's Peruvian Cuisine is a culinary haven with exceptional food and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere – a definite five-star recommendation!

Very nice little restaurant with very tasty authentic cuisine. The prices are a bit expensive for Hawaii standards. However, this is made up for with good service and good food.4.5/5 would come back
