One of the best banh mi I've had on island. I got the combo (dac biet). Their baguette is perfectly crispy without being hard. Good ratio of meats to veg (do chua), well rounded flavor. Will be coming back to try their other banh mi

Terrible attitude. Stop by once in a while and today I dropped by for a quick grab n go for lunch on my way back to the office. I couldn't really hear what the lady behind the counter was saying, there was confusion about which of the chicken box I wanted and the wrong dressing for my salad. The lady mutter a quiet insult, must have figured I couldn't understand what she was saying. Started out as casual grab n go and I left disgusted. Also, the pricing has gone up each time I have gone, too overpriced to justify value of the food received.
we were walking in downtown Honolulu and wanted coffee. This was the first place we came across. I can't say that the coffee (latte) was the best I've ever had. It had a bit of a bitter (or possibly burnt) taste. It wasn't bad and was certainly drinkable. It just wasn't amazing. Service was fine and it had nice seating outside.
Stopped by Madame Saigon for a quick lunch while in town. Asked the counter/kitchen lady if they had summer rolls as I did not see them on the menu. She said they could make it no problem. I asked if they had fish sauce and she said yes and pointed to a large tray of dipping sauce. Unfortunately no fish sauce, only chili sauce, peanut sauce, hoisin sauce. The summer rolls were pretty basic, just noodles, shrimp, and lettuce as the fillets. I would certainly have loved if there were cucumber, mint, and either soy bean or mung bean sprouts. Probably won't try summer rolls here again but maybe will try the sandwiches.
OMG...for me? Best...Banh Mi...ever.I got the BBQ pork banh mi, and requested a little pho to dip it in. No problem. Amazing and friendly customer service...I get home, open everything and bite...OMG WOW
The food was tasty and little bit sweet for me. The lady in the counter was also sweet that I promised myself to be a regular customer:)
Good food
Hands down the best!Suggest the mini plate with 1/2 pad thai, 1/2 garlic fried rice starches and green curry eggplant chicken with the eggplant tofu. ? little bit of everything ?

Kim, Kevin, and the tasty food keep us returning. The only suggestion we would offer is that the food for the plate lunches be kept consistently on a food warmer that's turned on, rather than giving it an appearance that the food is heated.
his place made me love poke. Super tasty and fresh. Fresh fish from auction everyday! You will have a new appreciation for fresh fish after eating here.
Good service, nice selection of tasty food.
This is my go to for yummy vietnamese cuisine in downtown honolulu! Lemon grass tofu on a salad or on papaya salad is delicious!
I love their tofu!
