Great food, great service and awesome tunes, I would eat here again today even though I just had their food last night! I would love to try other items on their menu.
The food is AMAZING!!! I take all of my family & friends here! I 10/10 recommend eating here if you want some good food! It's not too heavy but it's very filling & VERY good! The waiters are very good about helping you pick things & giving you a history about each item on the menu. If you are visiting you NEED to eat here! I love the edamame
First time visiting Moani. We were there for happy hour. The prices were more than fair, the portions were plenty large and the food quality was outstanding! The atmosphere was great and the service spot on! Definitely will be going back while vacationing in Waikiki!
Food was tasty and the service was excellent. I recommend eating around 6 pm to enjoy the live music
Honestly, i don't usually leave reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. The loco moco tasted like a brick of meatloaf on soggy rice with an egg, and it made me feel so sick I had to leave and go back to the hotel. My nieces' salmon was cold, and overall no one at our table enjoyed their meal. They did take the loco moco off the bill, but for a place with a five-star reputation, this was a major letdown. They seemed to be short stagger this evening and maybe that's why this was like this, but even at that I. wouldn't return or recommend it.
Despite having a reservation confirmed by your restaurant, we were not allowed in. I have never encountered such arrogance from a manager. This was the worst experience we’ve had in Honolulu. We will make sure to discourage others from visiting.
I had no chance to try… we have made a reservation for party of 5, through their website … we finally found them, but … it’s a private party . So they didn’t let us in. Shame. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday evening…
They don’t respect people
Came for happy hour. Food was delicious. Comfy booths. Service was good until it got busy and it seemed we were forgetton. Floor was oddly very sticky and bathrooms were not well cleaned. They will validate parking at international market place to a discounted rate. The food was good but not sure if I would return.
It was my boyfriend's birthday and we were 4 people. Everything was HORRIBLE, service, food, understanding, cleanliness, and price. The 3 appetizers including even the season salad didn't taste normal and good. Our rebeyes was fatty and chewy. We didn't even have a knife. My friends did it even have a second bite. The red wine was Merlo instead of Pinot Noir. We just left very disappointed and no one had dinner after that. No manager was there. The staff were new and kept on forgetting how to serve or changing the plates.

By far the worst service/experience!…and it was our first and definitely last visit! My family was here for dinner (Sunday) and there was no wait, and quite frankly not very many people dining at the time.
After being seated, it took the male waiter about 10-15 minutes to even greet us…after about another 10 minutes, he takes our order. My daughter orders sliders, and waiter proceeded to tell us that they’re out of fries AND onion rings…wow that’s a first!
After placing our dinner order, I request for an ice tea, and family orders water. I receive my iced tea at a reasonable time, although they glasses of water was never served! After about 20 minutes, no food or the appetizer we ordered, water nowhere to be seen/found, so I flag down the bartender and request for glasses water for my family…he returns to bar and doesn’t even prepare any water glasses for us…after about another 10 minutes, the water alter appears at bar and I observe the bartender tell waiter we named him after…waiter looks very confused and disinterested, continues to do whatever he’s doing at the bar!
We finally decide to leave…but before I exit the restaurant, I decided to approach the bartender and offer to pay for my iced tea. I make eye contact with the server and tell him we’re done. Server seemed fine with our decision and showed no remorse whatsoever for the horrible service!
Oh and another observation…the female host was hanging out at the bar the entire time chatting with a male customer while we were seated…and there were several couples that had been waiting to be greeted/seated, and left after a few minutes.
By the way, this is my very first review post!…so that should show how upset we were as a family!
The food and service were very good. We were there before the nightclub crowd, but they had an excellent guitar-playing vocalist. Friendly group! We will definitely return!
Went during live music on a Monday from 6 pm live music. Loved the vibes everyone really makes you feel like you're a part of their family. Genuine and awesome service. Great food and drinks! Loved the Pele prawns and my kids loved the fried chicken kids meal
I got the fried fish which had a cool display. It’s a cool place that has someone performing. We went on a weekend so not sure if it’s different during the week.
Our waiter, kahookele, was amazing. Kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu and, most importantly to us, local culture. The food he recommended was excellent.
