Food was decent other than finding a hair in our chicken and having it remade. Our server was extremely rude and not only made comments about how we’re disrespecting the culture because I didn’t know how to pronounce one of the drinks. Also kept referring to us as “Americans”, which is wild considering he enjoys his freedom as an American. The live music was nice and the host helped us more than our server. Overall not impressed and definitely not the restaurant for tourist.

I'm sorry but the food may have been for local taste but not mine. The Monkey Pod Tree in front of restaurant is outstanding.

I got the shrimp and clams over rice and it was the most tender clams I have ever had. Absolutely scrumptious! The live music set the vibe too.

It was our last night in Honolulu and my bf and I wanted to eat loco moco for dinner. We were so excited because in the pictures it looked decent. Boy were we wrong! It should have been a red flag when we saw there was no one at the restaurant. Secondly - they had a live performer, but the woman singing was obnoxiously loud and humming and she butchered Chappell Roan's popular hit song. She knew it too and was laughing. The mic was on way too loud and it ruined the ambiance of the restaurant. When we put our order in for the loco moco, it came within two minutes..NOT JOKING. We were shocked how fast it came. When we cut into the meat, it was like cutting a rubbery over well done steak and the meat was so abnormally thick!!! The side of the patty was as big as three fingers and it looked raw from the side. It was disgusting and it didn't even have gravy. We got the bill and left and wasted money there. We ended up going to Aloha Table and had REAL loco moco. Do not waste your time and money here. I regret it.
Aloha, The hostess was very helpful, all the waitress's were amazing and on top of it. Was a great time so much entertainment and fun.. food was amazing the scallops were fantastic! Big mahalo we can't wait to come back.
Moani Waikiki is in the International Marketplace. Outdoor seating and indoor seating is okay. Suggest adding more decor to the interior and exterior seating area to boost whatever design idea the restaurant is targeting. It's pretty plain. The food flavors were a bit strange. The tofu salad had some kind of oil coating on it with the dressing served on the side which was overpowering. We also ordered the seafood specialty which did not have much seafood flavor and I think it's because of the sauce dressing. Need to add garlic, butter, salt, and pepper to the dish please to whoever is reading this.
Amazing food and music! This is my favorite place to bring people during the week when I wanna listen to music and have good food. Some of my favorite dishes here are the smoked meat, Pele prawns, boneless pork chop, fried whole fish, and the hamburger steak. The pork and kimchi fried rice is also amazing and I get everything with the side of poi.... This is truly a gem in the heart of Waikiki. Highly recommend it.

Pork belly was amazing, but the “family plates” arent enough to fill any single person. My dinner ended up being 4 pieces of shrimp

The live Music creates a good atmosphere. The area looked nice. Although, if you don't mind waiting 10 - 15 minutes just to order and 40 minutes to get the check, but also love to have rude service, this is the perfect place for you!
While waiting for the check we had multiple server’s walk past our table, my main server checked on every other table beside us. We worn’t even asked about desert, even though the Keiki meal came with it. The wait was too long that we just didn't care and wanted to leave. I would never recommend this place.

Horrible Experience – Unfair Treatment
I recently visited this place during my time in Hawaii and had an awful experience. The owner allowed certain people to enter without paying, while I was charged the full price. When I politely asked about the difference in charges, he dismissively told me not to worry about it and then kicked me out, even after I had already paid! This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other spots in Hawaii where you’ll be treated with respect—don’t waste your time here.

Casual but trendy ambiance. Food is delicious. Generous portions and innovative upscale take on local favorites. Also note that they are in the International Market Place. Their website does not indicate this, and GPS sent us to the entrance to the parking lot via Duke's Lane which was closed. Need to access the Internation Market Place parking lot off Kuhio Ave.
