Three years ago, I embarked on a journey to the beautiful island of Hawaii, known for its sun-kissed beaches, turquoise waters, and an array of culinary delights that would forever change my perception of brunch. While exploring the vibrant streets of this tropical paradise, I stumbled upon a hidden gem called Moke's Bread And Breakfast, which left an indelible mark on my culinary journey. It was a brunch experience like no other, set in an enchanting locale amidst the natural beauty of Hawaii. As I stepped into the restaurant's cozy ambiance, I was greeted by a tantalizing array of dishes that promised to redefine my notion of brunch. The menu was filled with delectable options, from the Lilikoi Pancakes, adorned with the sweet essence of passion fruit, to the hearty Corned Beef Hash; each item beckoned with the promise of culinary bliss. However, the Loco Moké—a massive plate of gastronomic indulgence—truly captured my imagination. To fully appreciate the enormity of this culinary masterpiece, one must embark on a journey of epic proportions—an ascent to the summit of Diamond Head, where the breathtaking vistas serve as the perfect appetizer for the feast that awaits below. With each step of the hike, anticipation builds, and by the time you reach the summit, your appetite is as voracious as the waves crashing against the shore below.Upon returning to the restaurant, I found myself face-to-face with the pièce de résistance: the Big Kat—a secret menu item that dared to challenge even the most audacious of brunch enthusiasts. It was a dish that looked like it could feed an army of people. Two eggs over corned beef hash over ribeye steak, nestled atop a bed of fried rice and smothered in rich gravy, with Portuguese sausage on the side—it was a veritable feast for a king.Undeterred by the task's enormity, I embarked on a culinary adventure unlike any other. With each forkful, I savored the rich interplay of flavors—the savory notes of the ribeye, the hearty texture of the corned beef hash, and the comforting warmth of the gravy enveloping it all in a blanket of indulgence. It was a culinary symphony that transcended mere sustenance, offering a glimpse into the boundless possibilities of gastronomic delight. As I polished off the last morsel of this monumental brunch, I was overcome with a sense of satisfaction and contentment, which lingered long after the meal had ended. Amidst the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii and the sumptuous offerings of this enchanting locale, I experienced a genuinely life-changing brunch—an epicurean odyssey that would forever hold a special place in my heart and memory.

Best loco moco I ever had! Not into loco moco but their gravy was so good! Also not into pancakes , ate it at the end but it’s still fluffy, not saggy or mushy at all! That lilikol sauce was amazing! A bit sour, but rich creamy flavor at the end, goes so well with the pancakes! Also Portuguese sausage was good too!

I arrived at the airport and took The Bus from the Ala Moana bus terminal.I got lost on the way, but a local person guided me to the store.I wasn't really hungry, so I just ordered coffee and lilikoi pancakes. It was one of the most delicious pancakes I've ever eaten. I wanted to try other things as well. The staff was very nice and the store was very comfortable.I will definitely go again next time.

Loco moco smelled great, taste was fine, but egg was overcooked. I asked for over easy but came medium well done. Could use more gravy

Oh man, what can I say about this place? We love the flavor of lilikoi and we were super excited to come here for breakfast when we saw they had lilikoi pancakes. We came on a Saturday morning so it was busy, but we were seated quicker than expected; it's a small diner, but they do a good job of turning over the tables fast. We both ordered the lilikoi pancakes and we're so glad we did. The pancakes were so fluffy and the lilikoi sauce was the perfect balance of tart and sweet and the whole meal was so light and delicious. The service was good as well and this is a perfect place to come for breakfast. We would 100% come back!
