sassy host(s) and waiter. Had reservation at 8:15pm, lots of tables available but asked to wait and got seated at 8:30pm which seemed deliberate.

Noise level/volume from music completely disrupts any chance for conversation either knside or outside - disappointing. Desert menu epic fail - trying to align with Monkeypod restaurant is poor idea. Ice cream bars??! Bummer. New parking process is s huge mess too. Might rethink my level of patronage.

Waited over 50 minutes for our order. Waitress completely forgot about us. The only order we received was water and one glass of lemonade. After waiting over 50 minutes, we notified the hostess that we have been waiting for our food. Our waitress never came by to check up on us or let us know the reason for the delay. Parties that came after us received their drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes of their arrival. We just sat there waiting. We left very disappointed. Will never return to this establishment nor recommend to our family and friends.

I wish Moku Kitchen was in our home city! We'd make it a regular dinner spot. The menu is limited but the drinks and food are excellent. The portions are “right sized”, I.e. you feel satisfied and don't have to take food home. It is family oriented and, as far as we could tell, most of the customers were locals. The “live music” was a disappointment, being a sole guitar player accompanied by canned rhythm.

Go here for happy hour. The staff are always very friendly. It can, however, get a bit loud. I always sit at the bar.

Great decor but the food falls short. Fish tacos were bland and dying for salt. Mushroom pizza was good. Truffle fries were really amazing. Drinks were AWFUL. All were a syrupy, sugary mess. Fish and chips were the best thing to get, if you sub truffle fries. BUT value for what you pay is not there.

we had to wait 25 min to get a drink. Then the waitress was rude and dismissive. Reminded us a 5 drink max eventhough we sat there 4 for almost 3 hours. We had only 2 drinks when she stated the drink max.

The food here was really good! Unfortunately the atmosphere was so violently hot, I don’t remember it always being this hot in here! I had to get my food to go because It was so uncomfortably hot in there! I feel bad for the workers!!

This is one of my favorite spots in Honolulu, but I was disappointed with the service tonight. The server spilled a cocktail onto our purses, a phone, and down one person’s leg. My bag was dripping wet and covered in Mai Tai, and I had to throw it away as every pocket was filled with liquid. I would have appreciated some gesture from the restaurant since we spent a lot of time cleaning. For example, comping that round of drinks instead of paying full price. Otherwise, I love this place and the food is always excellent.

This place is way over rated. Reservation for 8 people to celebrate my anniversary at 7:30pm was on time. However the menu is simple and bland, nothing really appealing at all. But the service is the worst part , absolutely terrible. Our server Waikalani was so rude and coy the entire time, answering simple questions with such a condescending attitude. To top it all off the hostess came over and tossed the check onto the table over my shoulder, no thank you, no excuse me, no we can collect this when ready, literally tossed it over my shoulder. I do not recommend this place, in that complex alone there are several better restaurants. I say 1 out of 5 stars!

A group of us went for dinner and got seated outside which was perfect. The inside is def higher energy and noisy.

I really wanted to give their food a higher mark but I found that, while good, generally missed the mark in small ways: steak came medium instead of med rare. The tuna taco had perfectly done fish but instead of salsa they added some plain chopped tomato and onion (?!). It's a great spot with decent food but with a little extra effort it could be great food

Very solid happy hour here- it's everyday and you get half off small plates and all pizzas are ~$12. Their signature mai tai is delicious and does not mess around- she's STRONG, and the lilikoi foam on top is delicious! Of the small plates we tried, the poke tacos, ravioli and mini sliders were our favorites. The pizza was also quite cheesy and satisfying. Definitely busy but the servers are on it and the live music is nice :)
