This place was pretty good, forgot to leave a review from several months ago. Ordered some chicken strips because they were the special, I didn’t expect much. To my surprise, they actually had hand breaded deep fried chicken, some of the best I have ever had, along with some great fries.

I am a bit sad that they charge cover, but I guess you have to pay for places that play decent music... This venue is opened until 4 am. It's always a hit or miss because you never know how many people are actually upstairs and the bouncers can lie to you if you ask if it's crowded so that's the only downfall. $6 drinks, you can't go wrong. This is the place where locals go. The dancing takes place upstairs. The place is big enough to roam around and hide in booths when you're not looking to dance the entire night away.

Ate a delicious teriyaki chicken bowl with tasty konohoa ale. Comfy casual atmosphere and reasonable prices.

My friends and I arrived to Moose's on a Friday night Feb 21st. While my friends were paying I waited on the stairs for them to come up but the security flashed his flashlight in my eye and yelled at me to go up or down. My friends would only take a moment but I just descended to avoid being harassed. Upon entering there was a fight happening which was kinda scary. Obviously not the staff's fault. The guy I was with and I approached the bar and he tried to buy me a beer and the bar tender just yelled no, he was really rude about it. We snuck away to the other bar to get me a beer. When we left at the end of the night my friend said jokingly "I thought girls get in for free!" and the security guy say "only pretty girls". Needless to stay, we found the staff and security very rude. The music was fine.

l visited Moose's when I was stationed in the military at Camp Smith Hdquarters way back in 1983-1984. I must have really liked Moose McGillycuddys because I still remember going there 36 years ago. Very fun and hip atmosphere.

OH. What to say about Moose McGillycuddy’s. It’s a really fun place. Great drink specials. Cover charge and good security honestly. Super great place to come to have some fun! It gets packed, so hope you like being close to others.

Mooses is awesome in the sense, if you're looking to party or have fun past 2am, then this is the place to be. But dont use your card, use cash only. I went drinking this past weekend, both friday and Saturday. And for some reason my card was charged $25 everytime I went to the bar, despite every order being a vodka Sprite (at the most 2, which is $6). I cant complain against these charges or get my money back, because there's no proof. But just be cautious about using your card here, I probably have wasted well over $200. Pic related

I came to Moose's pub with my family this evening (2/19/2020) because, let's face it, the name is too cool to pass up. With the service I and other family members in my party received, I wish we did a MOOSE PASSING. Firstly, we arrived about 655 pm and happy hour closes out at 7. As we got seated, the server was kind enough to tell us " since you didn't make it before 7, drinks are full price". Food was ok for pub food. Service on the other hand, was probably some of the WORST I've had all around. One person in my party left the table to speak with the bartender ( Carla ) about a bucket of beers he saw on the bar. Carla was acting as if he was speaking a foreign language saying " What are you talking about" despite the fact the bucket was ON THE BAR ! Next, server hadn't come to ask if people were all set after bringing the food. I was drinking water and desperately needed a refill. Since server was no where to be found, I went to the bar and Carla walked past me twice despite the fact that the bar wasn't too packed at all ( I was able to walk right up in between a few empty seats ). Once Carla was gracious enough to acknowledge my existence, I asked for a refill on my water and was rudely asked " are you seated at the bar ?" I said I was at the table ( and pointed in that direction) and Carla response " ask your server " REALLY !! For a glass of water !! Sat down for another few minutes and when the server was STILL nowhere to be found, I stood in the EMPLOYEE ONLY doorway leading back to the kitchen until he came out a few minutes later. When I explained the situation and asked what the bartenders name was he was hesitant to reveal it. I asked twice more, he finally said " It's Carla but you need anything you have to ask me". Gotta tell you, I am not one to be a negative review writer, but this REALLY got my ire up !! In short, if you're looking for average food at best and TERRIBLE service, kinda like you are bothering them, then by all means, make it a Moose night out. If you want to spend your hard earned money and be treated with respect, eat elsewhere.
