Was looking for an açaí bowl to eat, stumble upon this place, ordered one but had to wait over 20 minutes, and once i got the açai it was in a small measley cup, for 13-14 dollars this is a total ripoff, would not recommend and will not be back. 0/10
Update: The cup I received was nothing more than 8oz MAX, I'm sorry but for the price that it is listed at is unreasonable for that size. But apologizes this serving size I was given was no where near your industry standard.

Great cup of iced coffee. Honestly I was looking for the coffee roastery nearby and just could not find it. But this place is great, would come back again.

The Place is big and nice. There is a parking lot close that you can parking your car for free and the tolerance is 1 hour.
We got the smoked salmon toast and It was delicious, we also had an iced matcha which was super strong, but tasty.
For sure I’d come back.

I found a piece of plastic in my coffee. I almost swallowed it.
The cafe isn’t clean. Ordered the turkey sandwich and it wasn’t good at all.

Great place for coffee and/or breakfast. Stopped by and got the spinach havarti bowl and some chia seed and fruit bowl. Both were delicious. Coffee is better than Starbucks haha. It seemed pretty busy, but there was always somewhere to sit. Looked like a cool place to hangout and get coffee with friends.

Got a large coffee which was good, but a bit expensive, and they applied a 50% tip without even asking.

The menu online does not match up to the current one. A lot of the vegan options are not there.
The food was a disappointing, I ordered turkey panini and got a store bought toast bread sandwich, barely warm, smothered in some sweet bbq sauce, raw apple and pieces of turkey. Coffee tasted nice but the execution was rushed and definitely did not live up to my expectations. Not worth the money.

Ordered the vanilla mac latte as I’ve had a few good ones while in Oahu. This one was a little disappointing. I couldn’t really taste the flavor as it was a little bitter. Also the straws they use here are extremely fragile. I had to use a different straw from another place nearby.
I've been here twice and have not been disappointed ! This place is right in the heart of Kaka'ako and is a perfect place to study, eat, have a date, etc. If you're looking good food at a moderate prices with amazing presentation, then look no further 😀 This spot features 2 stories and a good amount of seating and personal space. They also have flyers posted at the front showcasing local events around the island, which is cool. Totally recommend the smoked salmon bagel 🥪 😋

If you make coffees at home on your breville and you like lattes strong without paying for extra shots, get the small hot Thai latte, it was the best I had on vacation and you don’t need the extra shots because they make them strong and perfect and pair it with the almond croissant. You will not be disappointed! 🫶mahalo!

I visited Morning Brew at SALT on April 14, 2025, with two friends, excited to try it for the first time after hearing great things. Unfortunately, what should’ve been a fun brunch turned into a traumatic experience when I discovered a cooked gecko folded into my bacon, egg, and cheese bagel.
I was physically ill for hours afterward and contacted poison control out of concern for salmonella contamination, as I had already eaten part of the sandwich and bit into the gecko folded into the egg. It was an incredibly disturbing experience, both physically and emotionally.
To the restaurant’s credit, they responded to my messages, refunded my order, and sent an apology. They also mailed me a $25 gift card and a $24 bag of coffee beans. However, given the severity of what happened—finding an animal in my food, becoming sick, and the emotional impact—it felt like a minimal gesture that didn’t fully acknowledge the seriousness of the situation.
I don’t take writing reviews like this lightly, but I felt it was important to share what happened to encourage accountability and greater attention to food safety. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I did.
