Morton's The Steakhouse

Unfortunately, the restauarant was slammed with seversa large parties of 10 or more. There were only two chefs in the kitchen. We were two, and the big orders, which would have to be prepared at the same time for the runners to bring out, overwhelmed the kitchen staff. Consequently, our orders got sidelined and we had to wait. Eventually, we gave up and had our order boxed to takeaway.

We were celebrating my father's 82nd birthday. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The food was good- sides were just average but the steaks were cooked perfectly. There were two things that the restaurant could change that would drastically improve the dining experience. One was the table. It was VERY lopsided. It was at an obvious tilt was much lower on one side. The waiter apologized when my mom mentioned and we tried to laugh it off, but it was distracting the whole meal. The other thing that was irritating was there were small bugs (maybe fruit flies?) flying around our food the whole meal. I felt like I spent a lot of time keeping them away. I've never experienced these things at a fine dining restaurant so it would probably prevent me from returning.

Everything was ON POINT !!! Our food / drinks and server was superb 👌🏾 just on it. We had such an awesome experience definitely coming back. 100/100 for sure

The French Onion Soup was not prepared properly. There were 2 slices of cheese in luke warm onion soup. The cheese should have been melted. Apparently, the kitchen ovelooked this important step.

Great place. Some of the decor is a little dated but we didn't go there for the interior decor. Food was cooked perfectly. We had the shrimp lobster cocktail app, salmon, and aged ribeye.

Pricey but well worth the money. We go for the steak, can't speak to the other dishes. Everything is fresh and cooked correctly.

I hadn't been to Morton's in 10+ years and forgot how good it is. Service was great; attentive without being intrusive. Started with the Chopped Salad. Good but not amazing. I ordered the Miso Sea Bass ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So delicious!! My guest had the Cajun Ribeye - also so good! Our sides were Brussels sprouts and Potato A Gratin and I would order both again. My entree was so good I was thinking about who I wanted to go back with so I could order it again.

It was our first and probably last time at Morton's. We only went there because we received a gift card from a relative. Dining environment is old and needs a refresh...maybe with a Hawaii sense of place. Our server was very friendly, accommodating and the best part of the meal. We ordered the salmon and miso sea bass entrees...really nothing special about the way they were prepared. We also ordered sides of mashed potatoes and rice...$18 each side! I don't mind paying more for special foods but $18 for a serving of rice is way overboard. Our bill came up to $175...less the $50 gift card and our meal was $125 for food that was only ordinary. Save your money and go elsewhere...there are a lot of better restaurants in town.

Been to Morton's Ala Moana many times. All other times were five stars. This time the broccolini was chewy and the file mignon under-seasoned. Service and ambiance was great. My Manhattan was the smallest pour ever. A little disappointed but we will return.

The server's level is too low. After sitting down and being handed the drink menu, I waited 10 minutes before the server finally came over to greet me and take my drink order. I was given the food menu, and then waited another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. During this time, an older server kindly checked in, asking if I had any questions. While we were talking, my assigned server hurriedly brought the drinks over. When I asked to take home the leftovers, they ended up stacking the plates to carry them away. 😡 The plate bottoms were touching the food. 😡 What kind of training do they go through before becoming servers? It was a very disappointing experience. Of course, I only tipped what the service warranted.

They made our anniversary dinner one of the best experiences we have had on Oahu! They decorated our table and provided customer service we couldnt stop talking about as we waddled out to our car. Will definitely be back!

Great service! We had 4-course special menu and it was superb. Added lobster with our steak. Lots of food and waiter was encouraging for us to take left overs. Excellent experience!

Great service at Morton's. We went for my boyfriend's birthday, he had never been before. Only thing was we weren't seated until almost an hour after our reservation time and the lobster Mac and cheese was dry. Other than that, great staff and great food.

Service was great Food was great as normal Only thing was damn hard to find the place but worth it when we did.

Value was very good during restaurant week. Before if you had a birthday they would take a picture of the group and give you the photo. Now you get a dish of whipped cream with a candle in it.
