Musubi Cafe IYASUME Waikiki Beach Walk

I received 4 types including avocado spam musubi. You can enjoy onigiri that are different from those in Japan, but don't expect much from the taste or rice. Also, what struck me most about this store was the poor response from the Japanese staff. When I was having trouble paying, he made a face of disgust and silently pointed to me and said, "It's written here." It's been an unpleasant morning. disappointing.

SO YUMMY! My partner and I used to think musubi was “fake sushi” haha (sorry!) but after trying musubi here, we were BLOWN AWAY!! WE LOVE MUSUBI NOW!!! #

I have never had SPAM before and I’m not a fan of nori. This was a huge leap of faith from me. We got 2 of the teriyaki original musubi, 1 black pepper musubi, and 1 plum musubi. We then had to come back after we finished and grab another of the original teriyaki musubi. It was so good! My nose was bothered by the smell of nori from the place, but the taste wasn’t as heavy. I was really surprised. Definitely made fresh daily. The cost was obviously great and the rice portion was perfect for the spam slice. I’m shocked I enjoyed it as much as I did. Come hungry and leave happy for sure.

This is the definition of a small family run business that will give you amazing food in a place where you at least expect it I found myself going back multiple times in a four day span that had lots of great options and variations. I haven’t even seen definitely one of the best spots for musubi’s that I went into while I was on this island..

To put it simply, you can eat onigiri just like you would in Japan.

Very good small shop of musubi and onigiri. Probably the best ive had on Oahu (do not waste your money on ABC). Small shop and run by Japanese. Pretty good price as well.

A little shop selling musubi and musubi related merchandise such as bags, shirts, and even musubi kits. We went around 7 pm and there were still a variety of musubi available to purchase. There’s enough space in the shop for several people to enter, whether they are buying merch, or buying musubi and beverages.
