I am a big man (6'5", 240 lbs.) and I suggested I might still be hungry after the tasting menu, so our server gave us sliders on the house, which filled me right up and were delicious. The arancini was so tasty and perfectly sized to start our meal. While the farmers salad was tasty, it probably could've used some additional ingredients to make it a more interesting salad. The kanpachi was moist and delicious and the paella so flavorful with the right proportion of seafood to rice.

First time at this restaurant, pretty easy to get to the 2nd level. We were greeted by the hostess, sat at the bar and had a drink. I expected a bigger restaurant area but it was just right. It was pretty full but not noisy at all. We are folks that like to try different places and we are not fancy at all, we call ourselves down to earth. We like when our servers are doing there job but enjoy it. I didn't get our servers name ( hard of hearing) but she was Asian small skinny girl. We new what we wanted to order, and she took care of it right away. Meal came and it was delicious. Keep up the great work, food was great along with service.

Me and my husband went here while we were in Oahu. The food is delicious, everything we ate was SO good. The drinks even better. The staff is very friendly. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny.

My wife and I had the tasting menu. They made an accommodation and gave her butterfish instead of the tenderloin because she is a pescatarian. Most courses were excellent. Highlights included the poke nachos, scallops, and the butterfish. Also the lemon brûlée desert was superb. Personally, I found the steak to be a little overdone (at least a full medium well versus med-rare) and underseasoned. The location of the restaurant is unique, integrated along with an automotive dealership. Fun to look at the cars while waiting for the table. We would come back for the butter fish and brûlée.

This restaurant might actually be worth it! I came after seeing this on the Buzzfeed video on the Worth It series and knew I had to come on my first trip to Hawaii. The location from the video was different and the inside was a lot smaller than I thought it'd be. It was also a little confusing getting there, too. Prepare for a lot of stairs. But once we found it, we were promptly seated and greeted by really friendly staff. Crab Cakes - 4.5/5 these were pretty good! I think this was my favorite appetizer of the night. They were small, but they were equally crisp and soft. I really enjoyed them. Short rib & Foie Gras Won Tons - 4.5/5 these were flavorful as well, but honestly, if you're never had foie gras, you wouldn't be able to tell. I wasn't super blown away by it, but my boyfriend really enjoyed these. Wagyu Beef Sliders - 4/5 my boyfriend really enjoyed these ones as he's big on burgers. I do think these were really juicy and the sauce paired with it was quite delicious as well. Mochi Crusted Fish - 4/5 while I was really excited to try this, I found that I honestly preferred some of the appetizers more than I preferred this one. While the crust on the fish was really nicely crisp and the fish itself was really light, I found that I just wasn't totally blown away. The accompanying veggies were really good and eating them with the fish did help, but I honestly was a little confused. It unfortunately, didn't pop for me. Overall, this was a great experience overall. It was a nice middle ground restaurant in terms of price but also experience. Not quite luxury and not quite casual dining. I definitely suggest ordering tons of appetizers and sharing as these were definitely more fulfilling.
We live in Kailua Kona, saw this in the Honolulu Star food guide and flew over to Honolulu to enjoy dinner out with my wife. Our waiter Tyler, was great and made our date night out memorable!

Everything was absolutely outstanding! Chef Wade and Chef Michelle have curated such a lovely menu highlighting seasonal farm to table ingredients! My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed everything from their cocktails to appetizers, entrees and desserts! We definitely recommend this place to everyone interested in trying Hawaii regional cuisine and just enjoying amazing food!

Excellent, as always. I had a very fresh and delicious Farmers Salad, so good I forgot to photo for you, you'll just have to get one. My pal had the beet salad and raved also. We both had fish, she said "best Miso Butterfish maybe ever" and I had the kanpachi. Mine was perfectly cooked, moist in center and crispy on edges served wiyh a trio of pickled veggies, perfectly complimented the fish. We vow to return much more often, but on a weeknight, Friday was super crowded and noisy, but delish anytime!
