The matcha latte at this shop is very delicious. It's the right matcha, rich and fragrant. The ice cream and soft serve are also very good. Very delicious as well

If you’re looking for an ube fix, Nana’s Tea has an ube soft serve swirl will do you right. Aside from the creamy soft serve, they add a small dollop of fresh ube halaya and a couple of mochi ball. Will come back to try the other flavors!

The worst service I’ve ever had in Waikiki. Super rude staff. I told the lady I didn’t need the receipt and she answered „TRASH CAN IS THERE”. On top of that I was the only person who they ID for kamaaina because I’m white. Will never be back. There are better matcha places where the staff is less full of themselves!!!

Tuesday 9/10 2:00pm. My wife and I decided to have some dessert. Came here for Matcha Vanilla Swirl with Shiratama and Azuki and Hojicha Vanilla Swirl with Shiratama and Azuki. We’ve had the plain Matcha and Hojicha and the swirl with vanilla is much better. Tends to be a little bitter when it’s plain Matcha or Hojicha, in our opinion.
Staff were friendly and they have a couple tables in front of their stand.

Got the Hojicha Parfait and it was honestly so good.. we went back the next day and got their matcha parfait! Super delicious - The flavors took me back to Japan and kept me wanting more! I’ll definitely be back to try their other flavors and drinks.

Was really looking forward to the matcha soft serve because of all the good reviews from fellow matcha lovers and connoisseurs. I love matcha soft serve, the best I’ve had was in Kyoto, Japan. Maybe I came on a bad day. There’s NO matcha flavor!! Only plus was it’s not too sweet, but overall was just bland. The moment the soft serve came out dispenser, it looked bland, and sure enough it was. Unfortunately very disappointed

As an everyday matcha drinker, I was quite surprised with the matcha.
I always love my matcha strong and always put around 3 grams of matcha per ~12oz drink.
I judge matcha places on the most basic matcha latte as they should be able to nail the basic drink.
4/5 drink: i say this because you can taste the matcha. perfect amount of sweetness and proportions seem all good!
I did notice that this matcha was prepared SUPER quickly. Could be a good or bad thing depending on what you like.
I love making matcha, and the whole routine of it. I’m guessing the matcha is batch prepared/premixed to quickly serve customers. I am a huge fan of seeing the matcha mix in with milk and idk if it’s just mixed for you in the back, or if it’s coming from a premade batch.
Not much to say about location as it’s inside a food mall. Lots of seating and super easy to find.
I’m glad they nailed down the basic. My suggestion is to hand whisk each drink if possible to keep the beautiful layers of matcha. It is such a beautiful mix that more people should appreciate.
Also, i don’t see the sizes on their menu. They asked if i wanted a small or medium, but don’t list the fl oz on the menu. which is kinda weird. Just have it listed in your menu bc i did not see the cups on the table since im looking “up” at the menu. i’m never looking down at the table until im paying. i had to look at a picture i took of the stand to verify.
