Very traditional sushi bar with Chef Sho cheerfully taking care of your every wish. We had the chirashi bowl, which was painstakingly prepared with the freshest fish flown in from Japan (apart from the tuna, which was local). Family member/owner Mika took great care of us, with excellent recommendations for sake and also chitoro shishi with fresh-shaved yuzu from his backyard (!!!) We did not order it, but the omakase price is amazing at $90! Will order next time because this place deserves repeated visits. The sunsets must be ridiculous, because it’s on a hilltop. But we were too busy eating all this deliciousness to even look out the window!! Love that this is a fourth-generation family-owned business. One million out of ten. Book your reservation today!!!

We had a small group (3) and made reservations for omakase a week in advance. When we got to Natsunoya, there was plenty of parking but I believe it is only valet parking.

We waited about 10 minutes to get seated. It was limited seating for omakase, maybe 9 to 10 chairs available. The chef and Michael were engaging and friendly. We had a 7 course meal and we brought our own sake. Overall, the 🍣 was fresh, ambiance was good. It was comfortable and not too formal.

I will certainly come back again and bring my kids along to share this excellent dining experience.

Thank you Natsunoya!

We had a party of 100 and they were very accommodating. Food was great, they even assisted with packing leftovers. Although parking is valet only and very limited it was still a great place!

Love the food. Shrimp & pumpkin tempura are out of this world.

The best resturant in Honolulu for groups. Reserve an entire room and take the leftover food with you at the end. Best japanese local food. Amazing atmosphere and view. Valet park your car, it's worth it.

Great food, awesome sushi bar and chef. Always nice people and great service. They've adapted their menu to make it thru this pandemic, always changing and giving their customers what they want. You really need to stay creative nowadays and they've done a great job at it. Kudos to the owners and staff for keeping their menus and business going. Well done!

Still rules as one of a handful of places to hold your event of <100. Food is great and service is friendly. Always a nice experience. πŸ˜‰πŸ€™βœŒοΈ

Still rockin it! Had a nice intimate dinner upstairs with a view. Very busy night. Though was busy, still a very private room, service quick and friendly, food, of course, great! πŸ˜‰πŸ€™βœŒοΈ

Rocked the sushi counter tonight and as usual, was a full house. Great company, great food, great fun, and even greater being able to bring your own alcoholic beverages. πŸ˜‰πŸ€™βœŒοΈ

Great food!!

Food is excellent, but parking is horrendous! Not much space in the lot & it fills up quickly...

There is VERY LIMITED street parking, but the residents in the Neighborhood are pretty much over it with the illegal parking in the area! Not their faults at all... There are cones, rocks, no pkg signs & other means to block the small areas in front of their homes from excessive cars.

Too bad for the pkg, cause this place is GREAT! 3 stars cause of the parking 😞

Aloha: as always food was amazing. Went for a high school graduation party and like always the food is excellent, service is impeccable and place is clean. Love the old school, take off foot ware before entering dining area. Reminds me of home.
