Our first time in Hawaii, wife found online as we were leaving the airport in need of a good cup of coffee. Brewed a fresh pot just for us ?, for was freshly prepared. Love their ministry and work to help those in need. Mahola for all you do!

As usual, they never disappoint! Price is low and the food was yum! I love their energy! They're always happy and always so nice. This time I got the iced white mocha with an extra shot of espresso and it was sooo perfect for my morning coffee. I love Sunday mornings here.

Excellent service. Great food. Best part is being in the house of the Lord while enjoying some coffee or good local food. Should order ahead if you're on a time limit.

Where I go for breakfast & coffee ?????

Since I've began working in the area back in 2019 I relied on delivery. Like where can I eat in this area? One day my co- worker mentioned food in New Hope. Blew my mind, like, seriously!?! At the church across the way? Yes, she said. Since then, I've found that the food was really good and this became a frequent place for me. They've since remodeled and moved to the back/ side area. Honestly, now that I've seen the new area so much I cannot really remember what the old area even looked like - LOL! Since their remodel and reopening their menu has changed and there are more food offerings. The food taste and quality is still really good. I really like their breakfast bento, which is very simple - egg, choice of meat, and rice, for $6. I've also ordered their fish katsu all salad - the sauce is good and coated well. The fish is not fresh fish, but a flaky fish, almost like it was the frozen kind. Not particularly a fan of frozen fish and flaky fish, but this is pretty good. I've also had their crispy pork belly - it was almost like a lechon kawali, with the tomatoes and onions, but It wasn't very crispy, more fatty and chewy. I was expecting something else... a picture I saw of pork pieces was not it. Recently I've ordered the garlic shrimp all salad and that tastes pretty good! It is fried with the shell on, making it crispy on the outside. The shrimp is deveined so the shell is easy to take off and get to the meat. If I need a coffee pick me up, their Caramel Macchiato is pretty delicious and creamy. The best part is that the coffee is just $3.75! They have an open seating area with a bunch of tables inside and an outside patio area with lots of seating. The staff is pretty nice and drinks/ food comes out fairly quick. Happy Eating :)

Coworkers always rave about this place so I thought I'd try it out. Got the gochujjang slow braised short ribs with rice and salad. First bite of beef made me think the meat had gone bad. Second bite wasn't much better. The color suggests it might be a bit off but it's my first time trying this dish so it might be normal? I started picking through the pieces and sampling the slices that seemed to have less discoloration and they tasted ok. But these bits - I feel like I'm choking down spoiled meat. Pretty disappointed, grossed out, and fully expecting to be sick later today. Update: Two stars since I ate the rice, salad, and maybe half the meat without getting sick. Had someone else sample a bit of the beef and they immediately spit it out and told me I'm disgusting for even trying to taste different slices to try and find edible ones, lol.

Ran across this Cafe while surfing Yelp and boy what a blessing we got! I ordered short ribs loco mojo and it was unbelievable. Tender and juicy beef smothered in a tomato based sauce with just a touch of heat. Better than any other braised short ribs except my Mother's. Two eggs perfectly done as ordered, over medium. Husband ordered fried chicken and I have to say it is even better than Taniokas. Crispy on the outside and perfectly juicy and tender on the inside. And both for less than $24!!! Unheard of for short ribs. I don't think people know they are here but go now before everyone finds out and the lines start. Came for lunch but they have a good breakfast menu too. Gourmet food at drive in prices.

First time eating at the new and renovated cafe. The relaxing feel and awesome customer service was a great start....but the winner was what I ate..boneless kalbi with local style fried rice. It was sooo onooooo..so soft and tasty the kalbi and the fried rice was tasty but not heavy or wet. The menu has so many options...need to go back.

My new go to when I'm in town! Specials daily, the steak plate is broke-da-mouth with the chimichuri sauce! I got baked ahi the other day with wasabi aoli and it changed my life! They also had one of the best lechon Kuwali I've had, just order extra vinegar! But by far my favorite special was garlic shrimp, lightly battered and 'choke' garlic, so amazing!!!! Awesome price for gourmet lunch, I am now a regular lol!

This location is currently under construction and closed. They won't be open for a short amount of time which I wasn't aware of because it wasn't mentioned anywhere. BUT there is a nice coffee shop right next to it that sells pretty great coffee but the menu is small. It is inside a church so if you're not into that type of environment then this place isn't for you, but everyone is super nice and welcoming. Worth a stop by
