Very good food. We had a party of 11 people and ordered a large variety of dishes and meats. The service was quick and the food was super delicious. I would love to come back and order raw meats to cook myself at the table. Would recommend.

Husband and I are visiting from Phoenix AZ for our wedding anniversary and we are in love with Korean BBQ and have tried plenty different restaurants. Let me tell you, the atmosphere here is beautiful and welcoming. The food is amazing the sam goes perfectly and it’s all fresh and tastes homemade. I have nothing bad to say, come here if you want your belly happy and full.

The quality and taste of the meat are good, and it is especially delicious when dipped in the red sauce called beef pork belly sauce. In fact, the soybean paste stew tastes better than the meat ?? The side dishes are also good. However, when I went on a weekday evening, it was difficult to eat because there were so many people who seemed to have had some alcohol and it was so noisy.

I decided to check out New Hyung Je which is next door to Millions. They are located across from Runners Route and at the corner of Sheridan and Makaloa Street. I came for dinner with a friend around 6pm without reservations. We walked into the restaurant and saw 2 empty booths in the back but I guess they were reserved for 4 or more people so the lady sent us outside to wait. We waited 15 minutes and got seated at one of the tables that were originally empty.Everyone around us spoke Korean and they were fluent but we never had any issues ordering with the staff. We got brisket and skirt steak for grilling. The banchan (vegetable side dishes) came quick followed by the plate of meat. The meat was tough and the side dishes were okay. There wasn't anything unique or amazing about the food. We didn't need much servicing from the staff, we grilled our meats, ate, and left. The ventilation in the restaurant is not great so you are going to leave here with the scent of grilled meat on you for the rest of the evening. The parking in this area was tough. They have a parking lot behind the building but the spaces are compact and most of the stalls are reserved for residents who live upstairs. It's better to park on Sheridan Street since you don't have to feed the meter after 6pm but there's trees so the birds might poop all over the car.

I love going out and eating wonderful korean food, from the banchan to the sizzling meats, to the delicious sauces, and the fresh lettuce to wrap everything up in.I don't remember all the things we ordered, but it was a blurry meat filled experience, with I think a side order of soft tofu soup, and soju, and some beers.Service was decent considering how busy it was, it was what we could hope and expect in such a bustling place.

We went here for Gamjatang, not BBQ, but they had crossed it off the menu so our bad luck! We decided to order a spicy squid snd a kimchi jigae. We were served a good variety of banchan and the kimchi is really good. The spicy squid is served with either noodles or rice, we chose noodles. The serving is huge! You can easily share this. The kimchi jigae was very good, as I remember from living in Korea. Pork, dubu, and loads of perfectly sour kimchi. The squid was great, just spicy enough and cooked perfectly. I can’t speak to the bbq, but their menu dishes are great! Easy street parking. It’s not a big restaurant and wasn’t very busy; they have the call buttons on the tables for when you need service.

Although their pricing is more on the high end but food is pretty good... However, they should have FLUENT ENGLISH SPEAKING worker if they're doing business in United States... ESPECIALLY those handling phone orders :(

I went there around 6:30 on a weekday and it was pretty crowded. Some people who came after us gave up because they didn't have a table.Staff are friendly. The three of us ordered beef tongue, ribs, pork belly, and chijimi, and we were full. It's a simple yakiniku to eat with sesame oil and salt sauce, but it's delicious and much cheaper than Waikiki. There are about 6 parking spaces behind the building. It will be full soon, but there is street parking in front of the store and you can park for free after 6pm.It was about $60 per person including tip. Recommended.
