My husband and I enjoyed this place. Just getting back from a Japan holiday, this definitely made us feel like we never left. We both did the omakase course. Quality of fish, sake, and service 10/10. Make a reservation!

I recently visited this small sushi spot and had a great experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the chef was very friendly. I also ordered a few rolls and forgot to take pictures. Spicy ahi with cucumber was tasty. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There's free parking just across the street, which is a nice bonus. It’s a small space, so definitely make a reservation ahead of time to secure a table. Highly recommend!

Came for Taste of Ward and got their sampler—great value for $50! We also ordered hot tea, the spicy cucumber, and yuzu sorbet ?
Everything came out fast and fresh, even with a full house, and our two servers were excellent.
A couple things to note: They only have bar seating (about 15, so probably good to make a reservation), but there are hooks for your purse! And all the ordering and payment is done via QR code using your phone. Parking is either in Whole Foods or where the theater is.
My parents and I left very full and happy. We’ll definitely be back! ?

Excellent food with immaculate vibes. The chef and server were excellent and very helpful. It could be considered more on the pricey side of things but very high quality. The rolls were great as was the nigiri.

Perfect quick stop to eat after landing on Oʻahu. Everything I ordered was delicious. The best ono-licious miso soup. Delectable pork cheeks and Wagyu nigri. The Hokkaido Uni roll was okay, but I know how fresh sea urchin meat taste when just harvested. (So I am spoiled.)
Highly recommend this small restaurant. Limited seating. We had no problem being seated right away at the time we arrived. A regular patron celebrated his birthday and comped a shot of sake to those who happen to be dining in the house. Kampai!
