We really enjoyed the food and ambiance. Super thankful for the waitlist feature on OpenTable!
Amazing, authentic, quality sushi. They really care! Great, friendly staff. Highly recommended!
The food is okay, on par with other izakaya style restaurants in Honolulu. The cocktails were sub-par for $15 each. There is only bar-seating on hard barstools that are not comfortable. It is impossible to have a private conversation here. Our server had a bad cold or the flu and while she wore a mask, she kept coughing and sniffling. No way should she have been working around food.
Awesome experience & everything was so delicious. Definitley would go back and love the Restaurant Week Omokase Menu!!
Des delivered the freshest fish. The flavors were clean and the bites perfect. Chef's kiss. Price was right. Will definitely eat there again.
Omakase was delicious - the nigiri flights looked amazing - I'll have those next time. Excellent quality fish, toppings and sauces.... Highly recommend.
They use a QR code format to order and for my wife and I our cell phones were not working properly; couldn't tell what we ordered. Their site was behaving properly and I thought it was my stupidity, but it was their site and possibly the weakness of the WiFi in the restaurant. Things were getting ordered that i didn't order and eating there was very frustrating. I wish they would just go to a menu format. So much easier for us “older” generation.
We were on a short visit to Oahu and found this place via online reviews. It did not disappoint. Exquisitely prepared sushi and other items. The freshest ingredients —we come from a seafood town and know fresh fish. This is the best! The Nori seaweed is crisp and each roll is full of fish. There is true artistry to the preparation of each item, most of which you can see being created from your seat at the small sushi bar. The whole place seats maybe 14 people which makes the experience intimate and personalized. The chefs take great pride in what they do and it shows. Great service. Make a reservation!
Fish was so fresh and ’ono! Place is small, only seating at the bar. Cozy. We sat in front of the sushi guy. We enjoyed it.

Nice place. Everyone sits around the bar. FIsh was fresh and Ono! Service was excellent. Parking at theater and Whole Foods. A little pricey.
The music is not enjoyable or suited for the vibe in my opinion. It’s the only reason I’m not here everyday.

Enjoyed the omakase, especially after a long work week and not wanting to make another decision kf what to order. The pieces arrived at the perfect spacing. Also opted for the sake mini flight for $25. 4 samples were really good. 2 were not. But overall a great dining experience.
The walk up to the bar itself is beautiful and a must do at least once, staff is always friendly and food is beyond delicious. I definitely recommend to try the Blue Crab roll or if not a big crab fan, or looking to try a few things at once the 4 ROLL SET the bar recommends is a GREAT place to start!
