Used to live nearby and was a regular. Moved away and still came in because so onolicious and affordable. Not sure what happened in the last year that made prices go up 60% and quality go down at the same time, but I’ll miss you North Shore Grinds. Thanks for keeping me fed all those years.

I finally found a traditional Hawaiian spot in Oahu, and North Shore Grinds absolutely delivered! The chicken katsu was incredibly fresh—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. I also tried the #3 Hawaiian plate, which was an authentic, hearty, and delicious taste of local tradition. And let me tell you, the mac salad did NOT disappoint. Food tastes good but was room temperature. They were not busy at all yet they couldn't warm up my food? It seemed like it sat there for an hour. Food took a long time too. Its really for take out only place is too tine to sit in.
